SEPTEMBER 2020, ISSUE 18 PAGE 2 RECIPE TO TRY AT HOME CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES Originated from France and made its way around the world for its delectable taste and texture, the Chocolate Truffle is one of the most sought-after desserts in the world. Ingredients 220 gm choco-chips or Chopped chocolate (60% dark) 100 gm heavy cream Method In a medium sized bowl add the choco- chips or chopped chocolate Heat the cream using a microwave or a cooking pan. Do not boil Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and set aside for 5 minutes Whisk the cream and chocolate together until smooth and shiny Set in the fridge for it to set well Once it is set well, scoop out small balls of ganache and coat then with coco powder or chopped nuts of your choice CERTIFIED HOTEL FOR SAFETY AND HYGIENE Your premier city hotel, Turyaa Chennai was recently certified by Bureau Veritas and PARIKSHAN for safety in hygiene and other practices in relation to the mitigation of COVID-19. The hotel was the first hotel/resort in India to receive the Bureau Veritas certification. Bureau Veritas is a well-known global risk assessment company which reviewed the 140-room city hotel extensively for health and safety measures and enhanced protocols. The process examined all operational aspects of the hotel from guest, staff and supplier touch points to awareness creation and information dissemination. The certification criteria were based on policies, procedures and resources implemented by the hotel to manage the hygiene and social distancing risks in the current context. The assessment and disclosures were completed in accordance with applicable standards to testing, certification and inspection of businesses. At the PARIKSHAN certification, Turyaa Chennai scored a complete 100% score and A++ grade for complying with the necessary health and safety procedures and measures. PARIKSHAN is certified under Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). They are ranked no. 1 for hygiene rating and training partner in the FSSAI portal and is the only organisation chosen by FSSAI to conduct COVID-19 response training and is the food safety knowledge partner for Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), South India Hotels and Restaurants Association (SIHRA) and other associations.
