Salon Policy Welcome to Haus of Hare! We are a boutique salon committed to providing a spa-like experience. We have created a salon wide policy to ensure we are able to provide the relaxing and comfortable environment for all our clients. As well as ensuring our Stylists receive the respect and consideration they deserve. We understand it may be different to your previous experiences at other salons but we will be holding all clients to this policy. Guests and Children We understand that you may be used to bringing guests or children with you to your appointments. Haus of Hare is a boutique salon with limited space. Our stylists and employees are busy and will not be able to look out for children or guests as we are trying to provide paying clients with their personal experiences. We are unable to accommodate additional guests or small children and we ask that you arrange childcare for your appointments. If you're unable to do so please call prior to our 48-hour cancellation policy in order to reschedule with no charge. Cancellation and No Shows Our Stylists are independent employees, meaning they make money based on the services they perform. Last minute cancellations and No Shows take money from these Stylists by preventing them from filling those time slots. We have instituted a 48-hour cancellation policy, if you call 48-hours before your appointment we can reschedule you for free. Any cancellations after 48 hours or No Shows will require 50% of the cancelled service before we reschedule you. We will be tracking the amount of times these late cancellations and No Shows occur and any two of these in a row will then require a 100% payment of the affected service before rescheduling. Tardiness Stylists manage their own schedule and tardiness can set back their schedule for the entire day as well as affect other clients. Because of this we will consider any tardiness over fifteen minutes to be a No Show. Big Services Some of our services require front end costs and large time commitments. ● Brazilian Blowouts ● Color Correction ● Extensions ● Services exceeding 2 hours We will require a deposit upfront if the client has opted out of a consult. When To Make An Appointment We are a high volume salon with a long client list because of this walk-ins and last minute appointments will not be guaranteed. We recommend planning your appointments two weeks in advance for weekdays. Weekends and Evenings are usually quite hard to accommodate but we understand jobs may require you to make appointments these days. We recommend four weeks advance for any evening or weekend appointment.
