Bound Is Hiring an Editorial Assistant Are you interested in working with books, podcasts, and all forms of creative content? Bound is hiring an Editorial Assistant! We are looking for an innovative, passionate and ambitious person to join our team, help us grow our brand and promote our creative content and services. Bound is a storytelling company that helps writers and brands tell their stories. We are a small team of ambitious and creative women. If there’s a gap in the creative industries, a problem that needs to be solved, or a book that needs to be read, we are always ready for the challenge! Key Roles and Responsibilities Podcasts: - Research and writing concept notes - Editing and uploading episodes - Creating promotional content Editorial: - Handle calls and queries - Read and evaluate manuscripts and provide submission critiques Social Media: - Manage and create content for Bound’s social media accounts WWW.BOUNDINDIA.COM - Maintain the social media calendar to strengthen our presence across platforms B - Plan and write content for our website, newsletter and blog, Jotted Online Classes: - Programming and coordinating our classes - Creating landing pages for the website Develop strategies to promote our podcasts and services in close cooperation with the Head of Content and Managing Editor and the entire team. Brainstorm on new ideas, strategies and collaborations. Have fun with it! Qualifications 2+ years of experience in at least one of the following fields: Arts, History, Mass Media Communication, Literature, Video Communications, PR, Linguistics, Journalism, Podcasts, Editing, Teaching, Advertising, Marketing Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude Ability to multi-task and work with a small team Proficiency in English Exceptional language skills and attention to detail Experience with WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp Ability to come up with creative content ideas and solutions Unafraid to take initiative Bonus: Love of books and podcasts! Any kind of editorial experience. Note: Job requires a fair amount of screen time.
