My contributions provided clear and effective storytelling to the opening of the film, and shifted the direction of the film for the better. Character Design - I provided preliminary character designs for the film, said characters helped enrich the films world. Key character animation - I provided a significant amount of Key character animation, with a focus on run cycles, and expressive character acting Inbetween/Cleanup animation - I assisted in inbetweening, cleaning and colouring my own and other's animated shots. Film Dedication - I was exclusively present during this film's production, and worked closely with the film's director and producer to provide high quality work, meaningful feedback, and to be available when urgent work was required July - October 2022 'The Little Star that Talked to the Sun' Brisbane, QLD Character Animation/Storyboarding The Little Star that Talked to the Sun was a 2022 graduation film, directed by Isabella Maddock. My contributions are as follows: Art Direction - As Art Director, I held significant responsibility for the visuals of the project - I developed the look of the project, for characters and environment, provided detailed briefs to our artists, meaningful feedback, and I collaborated closely with the project leads Character Design - I had also created detailed concepts for the project's main characters, which came about through close collaboration with the project leads. Project Representation - Before I left the project I was a primary representative of the project to the lecturers at Griffith, often in place of the project leads. This included the compilation of assets for pitch documents, and the pitching itself. March - May 2022 'Third Degree' Brisbane, QLD Art Direction/Character Design Third Degree was a masters project for prior Griffith University alumni, and my contributions were as follows: Text Effects Animation - I was responsible for a shot containing animated effects to match the sound design of the film. 2D Graphic Animation and Concept Design - I was also responsible for a shot representing a phone screen. I provided design iterations based on the director's brief, and revised in response to feedback.
