Before 1880, very few buildings were more than 5 or 6 floors high! New technology gave people a way to build tall buildings. In the past, buildings were made of wood or brick. People then found out how to use steel bars to make a steel skeleton to keep tall buildings up. They invented elevators to go to high floors. ¿Cuál es el edificio más alto en el que has estado?
