Version dated: 21/03/2023 Investigating Truth in Beliefs Labelled Delusion Researchers at La Trobe University are seeking volunteer research participants to be involved in a study about investigating people’s beliefs that have been labelled delusional. It is seeking to learn about whether these beliefs are based in truth or actually occurring reality. You May Qualify if You • Have been told or labelled that you are delusional or believing a delusion. You may have been told this by a psychiatrist, another health professional, or someone that you know. Participation involves If you decid e to take part in the research, you would be asked to : • Participate in three one hour interviews with a researcher. • Engaging in seven hours of independent researcher that you will share with the researcher over the course of t he research period. Your decision to participate in research is voluntary. We recognize this is a significant time commitment but believe it is required to appropriately do justice to the complexity of this topic Reimbursement for participation You may be reimbursed for the entire 10 hours at a rate of $50 per hour. You will receive this via a VISA Gift Card that you can use anywhere you would otherwise use a credit or debit card.
