FACE OF ESCOBAR TERMS & CONDITIONS INTRODUCTION Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. Participation in this Competition will constitute your agreement to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not participate. By entering this competition you agree to post all related elements on your social media. COMPETITION PERIOD The Competition will run from 8 November to 12 November2021 (“the Competition Period”). No entries received after midnight on the 12 November 2021 will be accepted. The duration of the Competition may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Promoter. WHO MAY ENTER All Participants must be: A natural person and be 18 (eighteen) years of age at the date of the entry. in possession of an identity Document to validate their ag and the participant who enters this competition must have a valid South African bank account. Participation in this Competition excludes directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of the Promoter, their Agencies, organisers and participating stores, of the Competition and the spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the said persons. (Get your friends to share this post and tag you, share this post on your feed anything goes) The 4x semi finalists will be announced on 12 November are to be in attendance on 13 November where they will be hosted by Escobar Lounge, Bumbu and Belaire champagne, The decision is final, and no correspondence shall be entered into in that respect; Participants may enter as many times as they wish over the Competition Period, but may only qualify if they meet the requires mentioned in “Who may enter” FACE OF ESCOBAR TERMS & CONDITIONS THE PRIZE The 3 selected winners will each receive: VIP experience in Escobar Lounge (277 Main Road) that includes alcohol sponsorship by Bellaire Champagne & Bumbu Cash prize of R5 000; Other additional prizes to be confirmed CLAIM YOUR PRIZE The winner of the Competition will be announced at an event at Escobar that will be hosted on 13 November. Semi-finalists announced on 12 November will be in attendance of the event on 12 November Once the winners have been selected the Promoter will get in contact with them. If the Promoter is unable to reach any of semi-finalists winners after 3 (three) attempts made, for whatsoever reason, such finalist will be disqualified and a finalist will be deemed the potential finalist subject to the terms and conditions herein. The prize winners may be required to answer a few questions regarding his/her eligibility as well as be requested, at the Promoter’s discretion, to submit certain documents such as proof of entry, proof of age and etc. The personal information will be strictly handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013. Prizes are not transferrable. INDEMNITY To the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act and any other applicable law: The participant and/or winner(s) hereby indemnifies the Promoter, its associated companies (directors, officers and employees) and agents against any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages or loss of any kind regardless of how this was caused, and whether it arose under the law of contract or delict or otherwise, because of the participants’ entrance to the Competition. The Promoter excludes all warranties (express or implied), representations and liabilities regarding this Competition (other than for death or personal injury caused by its gross negligence and/or fraud). The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of participants (including but not limited to a participant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to reject any participant who has not complied with these Terms and Conditions. Errors and omission may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. FACE OF ESCOBAR TERMS & CONDITIONS Neither Promoter nor its agents or distributors will have any liability in relation to this Competition. GENERAL The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that the Promoter reasonably deems necessary. The onus rests on the participants to check social media platforms for updates to the Terms and Conditions. No liability shall lie on the Promoter in favour of any participant, winner (s) and/or third party arising from such cancellation, suspension or termination. Therefore, the participant waives his/her right which they may have against the Promoter and hereby acknowledges that they will have no right of recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against the Promoter. As part of the programme participation, the winners will post all their activities in relation to their prizes, VIP experiences and all related content on their social media pages. The face of Escobar will publicly post when they are at Escobar and showcase their consumption of Bumbu & Belaire only. The Promoters decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with and social media platform. If any part or all of any clause of these Terms and Conditions is illegal, invalid or enforceable: It will be read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not illegal, invalid or unenforceable, but if that is not possible; It will be severed from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions will continue to have full force and effect. The promoter reserves the sole right to disqualify any entries that contain profanity, sexual content, abusive language or any other offensive content. The promoter reserves the right to cancel this competition at any time and is not liable to provide notice thereof. Note that BUMBU & Belaire are the alcohol providers and are not official sponsors therefore the Faces of Escobar can not be seen as official brand ambassadors.
