Senior Sales Manager - Brooklyn Running Company The Brooklyn Running Company was founded in 2013 and maintains two shop locations: Park Slope and Williamsburg. We are seeking a full-time, energetic, outgoing, self-starting leader to join our management team. This role will largely be customer-facing and will assume some administrative functions but the primary responsibility will be to model and maintain exemplary customer experience at both store locations. We are a small team and all of our employees are asked to wear multiple hats on frequent occasion. At the outset, a key facet of this role will be customer facing responsibilities on the sales floor. We are committed to working with this individual to grow their management responsibilities. Time Commitment: This position is a full-time role with at least one weekend day required. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): ● Deliver high-level customer service, displaying strong interpersonal skills, deep product knowledge and a passion for helping BRC visitors engage with running/active lifestyle. ● Lead daily sales activities with designated sales team: ensure consistent fit process and customer interface across team of associates; conduct ongoing training on product and processes ● Maintain a kinetic work space, keeping staff engaged with store upkeep and beautification during slow periods ● Ensure accurate point of sale: create new items; receive and transfer product from vendors and between the two BK and NEPA locations ● Communicate immediate inventory needs or general trends to relevant category managers ● Maintain adequate stock of shopping bags, tags, office supplies, paper supplies, price tags, etc. ● Ensure a clean and organized front and back of house ● Openness to occasional travel to Northeast PA for potential staff meetings and/or strategy collaboration with Scranton Running Co/Valley Running Co staff ● Work a minimum 40 hours/week with the expectation of additional hours as the business demands ● Willingness to work store events, including each summer’s Brooklyn Mile, which are key elements of the business ● Continuous self-education of product offering including the various specifications of each footwear model Requirements ● Proven experience in customer service, retail, or service industry ● Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills ● A self-starter who is extremely responsive and has the confidence to take initiative and ownership ● Demonstrated commitment to an active lifestyle strongly preferred ● Basic MS Office skillset Salary commensurate with experience To apply, please submit a resume and Letter of Interest to [email protected]
