Frequently Asked Questions What does the EO2 Error message mean and how do I resolve it? EO2 means there is a water flow issue which can be caused in a few different ways which are listed below: 1. Blocked/Dirty Filter - The filter must be cleaned regularly as instructed on delivery to ensure a free flow of water. If the filter is not cleaned it can become blocked and prevent the water flow leading to the error message. Example of a Dirty Filter 2. Filter Housing Unit – The housing unit that holds the filter must be on flush when you screw the cap back on. If the cover is slightly off it can again lead to a water flow issue causing the error message. 3. Filter Pipe – The filter will do its job and remove most debris/dirt from the tub however sometimes hair and other debris can get past the filter and block the filter pipe. To check this, you need to take the housing unit completely off. To do this, leave the front screw in and twist the entire house unit anti-clockwise which will remove it completely from the tub. You can then check to see if any hair/debris is blocking the pipe. Please ensure you screw the filter unit back onto the tub afterwards. Why has the tub has dropped in temperature? The hot tub will naturally drop in temperature when in use by a few degrees. The motor will keep the hot tub heated to a certain degree but if its working against the elements outside it can take much longer. If the lid is on the hot tub it will increase in temperature by 1-2 degrees every hour approximately, this will clearly differ if the lid is off and the tub is in use. We advise to keep the lid on whenever you are not in the tub to ensure it has the best chance of staying at the desired temperature. The tub has turned itself off, how do I get it back on again? Firstly, the hot tubs do not turn themselves off, they would only lose power if either the power has tripped or it has been unplugged/turned off. If for any reason the tub is unplugged and plugged in again it will not automatically turn the tub back on itself. You need to ensure the both the RCD unit (See Image below) and the hot tub motor are turned back on. Firstly, press the red button on the RCD unit to reset it and then press the orange button to give power back to the motor. Once that is done you need to hold down the power button on the motor for a few seconds and you will see it light up once it is on. Please remember to turn the heater and filter on once you have power again. RCD Unit I have come back to the hot tub and half the water has gone, what has happened? This is another common question we get asked from customers. We fill your hot tubs using a hose pipe which needs to be turned off by you once it reaches the fill line. You MUST remember to take the hose out of the tub once it is filled otherwise the water will find its way back through the hose and drain your hot tub. Can you fill our hot tub with hot water? We will always do our utmost to ensure you can use the hot tub as soon as possible after installation. If you wish we can fill the hot tub up with hot water to get it to the desired temperature much quicker however this is based on a few factors below: 1. You must have a combi boiler. Although we can still add hot water to the hot tub if you have a system boiler, it will not be enough to get the hot tub to the required temperature. The smallest how tub we hire holds 800 litres of water so even emptying your entire tank into the hot tub would not be enough to outweigh the remainder of the tub being filled with cold. 2. If we connect to your internal tap the final temperature of the tub is completely in your control so you will need to balance the hot and cold water to get it to your desired temperature. If you fill it with too much cold water before switching over to the hot water, you will then need to wait for the tub to heat up to the required temperature or you would need to drain some of the water out to enable you to put more hot water in. What chemicals are added to the hot tub? We shock the water when we install your hot tub with stabilised chlorine granules to kill any bacteria in the tub immediately. This is measured carefully based on the amount of water in the hot tub. We also add multifunctional Chlorine tablets to a dispenser which is attached to the tub and that will keep the hot tub sanitised and bacteria free for the duration of your hire. Why are none of the buttons are working? This is the most common question we receive from customer which can be resolved very quickly. The motor has a child-lock feature which will lock the pad after 5 minutes so you must remember to hold down the lock/unlock button to activate the pad for use again.
