Siscode Ghana collaborates with various partners and volunteers to accomplish this objective. The organisation aims to provide computer resources to disadvantaged elementary schools lacking proper infrastructure while conducting coding boot camps during weekends and holidays. Currently, Siscode Ghana has a thriving database of over 1000+ undergraduate students from both public and private universities in Ghana who are eager to collaborate with your business and gain valuable international work experience. DESCRIPTION Our database typically has a diverse range of students from various academic backgrounds. These backgrounds commonly include Business Administration and Accounting, Computer Science & Engineering courses, Liberal Arts, and more. Most of these interns possess beginner-level skills, while some have intermediate-level proficiency. A small percentage of interns are experts in specific skills, which varies depending on the requirements. Our intern pool comprises students from their first to final year, ensuring a comprehensive representation. LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY Candidates are generally native English speakers. However, accents and English proficiency may vary from individual to individual. A few individuals are pursuing Spanish, French, German or Chinese courses at University. AREA OF SUITABILITY Interns are best suited for the following job fields, namely; Website/General Admin, Social media management, Video Editing, Data entry, Customer service, Virtual/personal assistants, Academic/Non-Academic research, Software development, Graphic design, and any other virtual tasks that can be well illustrated with proper training. AGE The current age group of students range from 18-23, with a small number falling outside this range, specifically between 24 and 26. ROLE OF ENTREPRENEUR Business owners should anticipate having highly competent and motivated interns prepared to excel in their roles. Since some of these interns may lack previous work experience, there may be a need for comprehensive training programs, including video and audio tutorials, as well as incentive-driven working methods. It is important to provide close supervision and clear guidance to the interns to ensure optimal outcomes. WHY YOU SHOULD USE “HIRE FOR IMPACT” Labour costs pose a significant challenge for small business owners and startups. However, here is an excellent opportunity to engage numerous individuals for your business at an incredibly affordable price. By utilising this service, you can keep your expenses low and make a positive social impact by fostering capacity building, empowering youth and women. Moreover, your support will contribute to the growth of a promising social enterprise, guaranteeing value for your contribution. INTERNET CONNECTIVITY The power and internet connections are often unstable in Ghana, where most potential interns are based. Wi-Fi usage is uncommon, so the intern will likely need to acquire internet data bundles during their engagement. If the intern cannot access a portable Wi-Fi device, especially for those working remotely, you may need to help them find one. Initially, the cost for setting up internet access is £30 per individual, followed by an average monthly cost of £10 for data bundles. However, these expenses may be unnecessary if the intern's tasks are relatively light and don't require a strong internet connection or if their university provides sufficient Wi-Fi access. This aspect can be discussed further with the intern. HOW IT WORKS To fulfil your internship requirements through our service, kindly complete the online registration form by clicking the link provided below. We request a non-refundable intern assessment and processing fee of £50 to start the selection process. Once you've submitted the registration form, our company's founder or representative will review your business profile. Once both parties are satisfied with the discussion, a simple contract agreement will be shared for your completion to proceed further. Please note that the desired number of candidates will impact the suggested donation amount. A higher donation will increase the likelihood of higher-quality candidates being placed. Once you have completed the interviews and selected your preferred candidate(s), our team will reach out to facilitate a minimum donation of £100 to support our organisation's programs and ensure the long-term sustainability of this initiative. Following the donation, you will independently manage your intern(s). You have the freedom to decide the duration and nature of the engagement, but we kindly request that you prioritise fairness, respect and adhere to good business practices.
