The government stated the same reason during the construction work of Chandighat pathshala in the Hailakandi district of Assam. Hailakandi district is a aspirational district as per Niti Aayog, Govt. of India.. Post the covid-19 lockdown, and the construction worker began the job this year. The tribal children of the Hailakandi district would benefit from education with the construction of this pathshala. Before the covid-19 issue, two-thirds of the structure was completed by mid-March. But after that, with the nationwide lockdown, the work came to a halt. But earlier this year, the local government resumed the work with an expectation to complete it sooner. The pathshala would start in another 1 to 2 months, giving away new dreams and wings to the tribal children of the Hailakandi district. 1 ITCT BESIDES THE FLOOD VICTIMS OF BIHAR When sending out a company newsletter, keep in mind these three things. First, send out your newsletter regularly. Stick to your promise if it's going to be weekly, monthly or quarterly. Second is to have a proper layout. Make your newsletter is interesting and easy to read. Lastly, ensure the quality of the content and images you will share. The recent flood worst hits the people of Assam and Bihar. The deluge created a two-way war for these people; while the fight against covid-19 has not ended, the flood was another trouble for these peoples. According to the Bihar State disaster relief team's reports, approximately 53 lacs of people in more than 13 districts are affected due to floods. Millions of properties got destroyed, and people lost their homes. There have also been reports on the loss of human lives and livestock. Higher altitude areas and national highways were the two options available for the villagers to avail themselves of shelters. In this crisis, the Indian Tribal Care Trust put its step forward to offer help. We organized a food relief program for the people of the Suphal district of Bihar. Around 300 off villages in Piprahi village of Suphal district in Bihar were distributed 1 week dry rations. During this troubling situation, the local volunteers offered help. During the covid-19 pandemic, the Indian tribal care trust team was working by distributing cooked meals and dry ration in 6 states of India. Not only had that, during Amphan, Bengal faced the worst kind of cyclone in its history. At that time, some of our volunteers were moved to Sagar Island in Sundarban, West Bengal, to distribute meals. Thanks to Neeraj Sinha, Ritesh Kumar, Amita Vatsa, Anuragam Vatsa, Amit Shah, Manoj Kumar, and many other heroes with invisible cloaks who came forward and contributed to the Bihar flood relief program. 2 Visakhapatnam gets its New Vocational Training Centre The Indian Tribal Care Trust unit has been trying to empower the women in their handicrafts work. Since we genuinely believe that when we empower women, we are empowering the country. Consequently, this will result in the actual development of the country. In the past, we have distributed sewing machines and other raw materials for making this handicraft. By using this raw material, the tribal women can tailor clothes and sell them in the market. This step will increase the self-dependency of the tribal women as they will be eligible to earn their living. We have decided to set up a new vocational training center in the Shobhakota village of Visakhapatnam. It is situated 110 kilometers away from the main town of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. Vocational centers will provide training to the tribal women in this center. 20 tribal women also took enrollment for the tailoring courses encouraging others to join the training center. The training program's tenure will be three months, where the materials and the machines are all provided by the Indian Tribal Care Trust. After the completion of this tailoring course, ITCT would provide the women training with handicrafts. Also, they will sew uniforms for the ITCT school students. It will create a source of income for the tribal women and generate employment for them. We sincerely thank Vekanta Shriram Madhukari for sponsoring the expenses of this new vocational training center. 3 Distribution Of First Aid Kit The tribals living in some interior rural areas have to walk down 10 to 20 kilometers to get primary health care. It shows the lack of proper healthcare in such areas of our country, and it is a big problem. Many a time, these people come down to the town to avail themselves of health care facilities. To provide some relief on this issue, we organized health Care camps regularly for different tribal locations. Getting first aid and primary health care during critical hours can save lives and make many differences. We have decided to distribute the first aid box in hundred tribal villages to keep these people's concerns in mind. Our volunteers identified hundred tribal villages situated in the northeastern state of Assam Tripura and Andhra Pradesh to start with this project. First Aid Box included bandage, absorbent cotton, essential medicine, and thermometer in this first aid box package refilled by ITCT volunteers. The tribal people are thrilled to get such support from the ICT. Local administration also appreciated this initiative of ITCT. ICT volunteers also sponsored the medical expenses of these poor tribals who needed advanced treatment. In the next 12 months, we will cover all these hundred villages to provide primary health care facilities. 4 Tithi Bhoj Our tradition and heritage tells us that whenever there is a special occasion we try to feed people somewhere it is called Annadan, Annadanam or somewhere it is Langar, in ITCT we call it Tithi Bhoj and ever since we started this program in ITCT we have been getting 4-5 calls every month where someone wants to feed the poor tribal or a entire tribal village on some special occasions. In this quarter also we received sponsorship for FFL from Deena Pavana Murani Das & Pujita Hari Priya Devi Dasi on occasion of birth of their daughter Laxmi Priya and birthday of Pujita Hari DD. On death anniversary of Premaleela Yasoda Devi Dasi by her daughter Sukriti Subhadra DD, Varagopala Das and Bhatin Rakshita. FFL was also sponsored by Aniruddha Gopal Prabhu on occasion of 86th birthday of his mother Parama Nandini Radhika DD, Sadaharinam Das and many more like them. 5 I n T i t h i B h o j y o u c a n c e l e b r a t e y o u r b i r t h d a y , m a r r i a g e a n n i v e r s a r y o r s o m e s p e c i a l o c c a s i o n b y s p o n s o r i n g f e a s t i n a t r i b a l v i l l a g e M A I L U S A T B P S @ P A M H O .
