VOLTAS - MADARIS TRACK CUP SPORTING EVENT EXPLAINED RACE PLACE • KALNAPILIO ARENA • ADDRESS : PARKO G. 12, 37310 PANEVĖŽYS RACE DATES PARTICIPANTS • Participants are going to be separated into 2 groups: Elite and Amateurs. • Elite group: under this group additionally can compete Juniors • Amateurs group: can compete youth and all newcomers to track. RACING FORMAT • Voltas - Madaris Track CUP is a cup format where every CUP round will feature the same race programme. The inaugural cup stage will be held 2023/01/14 in Panevezys Kalnapilis Arena. • Morning program: • 1 km HIT; • 4 km Team pursuit; • Team Sprint; • Evening program: • Elimination; • Scratch; • Group race for points; • Riders score points across the 6 rounds in either the Individual or Team races • Rankings within the Voltas - Madaris Track CUP will be determined by points al located to riders from their performance in each race. As example for 1 st place in Team Sprint every rider will get 20 points, not 20 points divided among 3 participants. • In the event of a tie in the standings the result will be determined from the previous race – best placed in the last race wins. PRIZE MONEY Prize money for overall win in Elit e group : 1 st place - 1000 Eur 2 nd place - 700 Eur 3 rd place - 500 Eur 4 th place - 400 Eur 5 th place - 350 Eur 6 th place - 300 Eur 7 th place - 250 Eur 8 th place - 200 Eur 9 th place - 150 Eur 10 th place - 100 Eur Total prize money 3950 Eur. The amateur group going to be awarded with sponsor prizes.
