Ticket details ▾ lukemattle 8 days ago I seem to be stuck on 36 fps when I play the Forza Horizon 4 on my PC. I have a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, an RTX 3070 GPU (with latest drivers), 16GB Ram and the game is stored on an SSD. I have my all my settings maxed with MSAA 8x, however reducing the settings makes no difference. I have V-Sync enabled @75 fps but turning v-sync off/changing the frame cap makes no difference. This started happening I think about a week ago. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game as well, which didn't help. I use an Xbox Series controller to play, plugged in via usb Agent Hypnos 7 days ago Hello, Turn off any extra Power monitoring software; -Gamefast from Dells Killer Control Center 👤 -MSI DragonCenter -RyzenMaster -Any software installed that may be adjusting or monitoring power settings -GameManagerService.exe (Razr) has been known to cause issues for some titles Then, make sure that your Power settings are correct -Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options -Change to High Performance -Perform a Full Shutdown (not restart). If there is, please exclude FH5 game files from it or temporarily disable the software to see if it's affecting this issue. FH5 is fine Agent Hypnos 6 days ago Hello, Try setting your setting in-game to the lowest settings possible. Play for about 5 minutes and then close the game. Go into the Nvidia GeForce Experience panel and under the home tab, optimize FH5, and see if that helps with this issue. If this does work, you can go into your settings and change them to your liking. Would this affect your troubleshooting steps at all? However, resetting FH4 in windows app settings sort of fixes it. If I keep it on the recommended ultra dynamic render quality it seems to stay at 75 fps. But when I change the advanced graphics setting to the max, it goes back down to 36 fps again. Any help here?
