We are not of the night nor of darkness 1 Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God. 2 KINDS OF BELIEVER: NEW MAN/ SPIRITUAL; OLD MAN/ CARNAL: THE NEW MAN IS IN HARMONTY WITH THE KINGDOM AND THE LORD THE OLD MAN IS IN HARMONY WITH THE WORLD AND SATAN: THE NEW MAN 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new . 1. “THE NEW MAN” IS THE PRODUCT OF THE RECREATED SPIRIT WHICH IS MADE NEW IN THE LIKENESS OF THE LORD AND… IDENTIFY! 2 Corinthians 5:17, Colossians 3:10, Ephesians 4:24 Ezekiel 36:26-27 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. 2. THE RENEWED MIND – MADE NEW THROUGH KNOWLEDGE—WHICH TOGETHER CAUSE TRANSFORMATION. 2 Peter 1:3-4, Romans 12:2, Eph 4, etc. “THE NEW MAN” MUST BE PUT ON, THE OLD MAN PUT OFF TO BE VICTORIOUS, FRUITFUL, MATURE AND TO RECEIVE REWARD. Ephesians 4:24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. NLT Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.
