Youth & Media Literacy - Youth exchange – Sabac, Serbia 17. - 25.8.2021 Travel dates included Young people from 5 different countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Portugal, Spain and Serbia) will meet in Serbia to discuss and find out more about everyday news (credible information access and critical evaluation and production of media content). For 7 days they will live and work together and share knowledge, skills and attitudes, cultures, etc. Where? In Serbia, there is one small but famous city named Sabac. It was and is a place oh humor, hospitality, music and lights. In the past time it was called „Little Paris“ and this place was first for many things. It is located in Western Serbia, on the right bank of river Sava, around 80 km away from Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. If you are coming by plane, please, let us know about your arrival and departure, because we offer you 2 options: 1. to wait for you at the airport and drive to Šabac, or 2. you can go to Belgrade with airport bus and then to come by bus to Šabac bus station. If you are coming by bus from Belgrade bus station to Šabac bus station, please find information about time schedule on following link https://www.balkanviator.com/en/ IMPORTANT NOTICE! In case you are wondering what is happening with your bad, food, shower, working place, and what are we going to do, stick with us a bit more and find out. Let us first start with the introduction of the place where you can sleep, eat breakfast and chill in free time. You will be placed in Big private house in 4 or 6-bed rooms in Milosa Obilica 63, Sabac. Do not worry, Sabac is a small and everywhere you go it does not take you more than 15 to 20 minutes on foot. Breakfast will be served in the house where you sleep. Please bring your own hygienic set and towells! *from Bus station in Sabac to House Working facility will be in KUD Abrasevic, 20 Masarikova St *from House to Working facility COVID-19 and travelling Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there are specific travelling requirements for those arriving to Serbia. You should prepare a presentation of 3 news from the community you are living in, can be local community, city or/and country presented by media and social media – press and electronic (1 of news must be produced by your national group). This is Show part, but for Tell part – other national groups will have a task to conclude was it disinformation or real one.
