FEASTIVAL FAQs Consumer FAQs : General: Q: Why is KFC throwing this gig? A: We ’ve got a passion for music as like our Kentucky Fried Chicken, it’s a way of unleashing your free spirit. This gig is a way for people to let loose, have a good time and eat some yummy food. Q: When is the gig being held? A: Sunday 13 th March 2022. Gates open a t 2:00 pm. Q: Where is the gig being held and how do I get there? A: Ferries will run to and from Cockatoo Island. Information on ferry times and pickup/drop off locations will be shared closer to the event. Q: Accessibility for people with a disability A: The E vent will be completely accessible. The venue, ferries and toilets will all be accessible. Q: Who is on the gig line up? A: Peking Duk, Baker Boy , Thandi Phoenix , Ebony Boadu and local DJs Q: Why did you team up with Peking Duk? A: Well , why not? Peking Duk are very similar to us; love a good tune, cheeky at times and love throwing a party so we’re thrilled to be able to join forces for this one - off gig. Q: Why is the Peking Cluk Burger only available at the gig and not in restaurants? A : We wanted to give something special back to fans so we’re offering it exclusively to ticketholders. So if you’re keen to get your mitts on one, grab a ticket! Q: Will the Peking Cluk Burger be available in restaurants in the future? A: At this stage the only place you can tuck into it is at Cockatoo Island, but the Colonel loves to have a few secrets up his sleeve, so never say never! Q: How much does the Peking Cluk Burger cost? A: The Colonel is a giving man so he’s decided that the Peking Cluk burger is FREE! Just line up at the KFC Food Truck and that burg er is all yours. Q: Can I purchase other food and alcohol at the gig? A: Yes, there will be a variety of awesome food and booze options available for you to take your pick from , provided you are 18 + and have proof of identity with you. Q: Is the E vent cashless ? A: We will be accepting cash, card or contactless payments Q: What can ’t I bring with me to the gig? A: Bags will be searched on entry for banned/prohibited items. Banned/prohibited items : • Alcoholic beverages • Illicit drugs • Full or partly full plastic bottles of water or soft drink etc • Ice chests or eskies • Flares, fireworks, or explosives • Laser pointers • Knives, guns or other dangerous weapons including potential missiles • Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades or bicycles • Glass or breakable containers • Horns, whistles and megaphones or other musical instruments that may cause a nuisance • Cans or metal containers • Chairs (folding, portable, camping) • Video and audio recording devices including GoPros (other than mobile phones) • Professional still cameras • Umbrellas • Selfie sticks • Any other items considered illegal or dangerous • Any political, religious or race - related materials • Strictly no animals (with the exception of service or assistance animals, such as guide dogs) Q: Why do you need to be 18+ to attend? A: It’s a licensed venue and booze will be available for purchase meaning minors can’t be in attendance. Please ensure you bring your proof of identity with you. Q: How much are tickets? A: Tickets are available HERE and will be $ 50 plus the booking fee Q: Is KFC making a profit from the gig? A: Nope, we’re throwing this gig and ensuring that the industry gets everything we can give it. Even better, proceeds from ticket sales are going to KFC’s Youth Foundation , which means the money will be split evenly and given to The Black Dog Institute, Reach Out Australia and White l ion Q: Why does KFC support those charities? A: The KFC Youth Foundation is our way of helping Australia’s youth. With over 90% of our work force under the age of 25, supporting Aussie youth is something we’re passionate about. These three charity partners do amazing things for helping the mental wellbeing of young Australians so we’re thrilled to be able to support them. Ticketing: Q: How can fans get hold of tickets to one of the gig ? A: T ickets are available from 16 th February and can be purchased HERE Q: How long does the gig last for ? A: Gates will open at 2 pm with food truck service and DJ s 2 pm - 4 pm Full line up below: Gates open: 2:00pm Local DJ s : 2:00pm Ebony Boadu: 3:15pm Thandi Phoenix: 4:00pm Baker Boy: 5:00pm Peking Duk: 6:00pm Feastival ends: 7 :00pm Q: How much are tickets? A: Tickets are $ 50 and can be purchased HERE Q: Will there be a name change facility? A: Tickets can be transferred into someone elses name via the Moshtix website. Q: I’ve purchased a ticket but have tested positive for COVID - 19 – can I get a refund? A: Refund requests will be sent to us via Moshtix to confirm eligibility. If your reason for not attending the Event is due to COVID - 19 illness or symptoms and/or in the e vent of a mandated requirement to self - isolate and/or mandated border closures and can be supported with the evidence of COVID - 19 positive test result and/or sufficient evidence proving your inability to travel due to Government order at the time of the fe stival, you may submit a request for a refund. People who have tested positive can apply for a refund within 4 weeks with proof of a positive test result COVID - 19: Scenario 1 - Taking extra precautions: Q: How is KFC ensuring COVID - 19 safety measures at the Peking Duk gig ? A: The health and safety of our guests and staff is our number one priority, so we’re taking precautions and implementing all necessary measures . We have an approved NSW COVID Safe Plan in place and will abide by social distancing protocols with free masks av ailable and hand saniti s er stations on site. Q: Is KFC putting any safety measures in place to check the guests don’t have COVID - 19? A: The ticket T&Cs require the primary ticket purchaser to agree that they nor anyone in their group will attend the Event if, at the time of the Event, they are unwell or subject to a self - quarantine or self - isolation period. Staff will also be screening attendees showing symptoms. Scenario 2 - Adhering to requirements: Q: How is KFC ensuring COVID - 19 safety measures at the gig ? A: The health and safety of our guests and staff is our number one priority, so we’re taking all precautions necessary . We have an approved NSW COVID Safe Plan in place and will have COVID Safety Marshall s on site. Staff will be required to wear masks, as will our guests when they’re purchasing food and beverages All guests will need to check - in via the Service NSW app on arrival. We will abide by social distancing protocols with free masks availab le and hand saniti s er stations on site. Scenario 3 - Reschedule the E vent: Q: What will happen if there is a COVID - 19 outbreak in Sydney at the time of the gig ? A: We will be closely monitoring the COVID - 19 situation across Sydney and NSW in the lead up to the E vent. The health and safety of our guests and staff is our top priority, so we will postpone the E vent if there is a COVID - 19 outbreak, lockdown restrictio ns, or if we deem it unsafe for the E vent to go ahead as planned. Q: If the gig can’t go ahead due to COVID - 19, will KFC reschedule the E vent to a later date? A: In the event that the gig can't go ahead as planned , w e will look to reschedule to a new date later in the year ; for those that are unable to make that date a full refund will be offered. Q: If the gig is postponed due to COVID - 19, will fans who are unable to attend the new date receive a refund? A: Yes, we will keep our fans updated with the new date and hope that they will be able to come along. If they are unable to do so, we will provide a full refund Other: Q: Is KFC concerned about hosting public events given the recent COVID - 19 outbreak in NSW? A: The health and safety of our guests and staff is our number one priority so we are constantly monitoring the COVID - 19 situation and following th e G overnment’s guidance. Q: In the event that someone tests positive for COVID - 19 after attending the gig, what actions will KFC take to ensure the health and safety of other guests who attended? A: Every person in attendance at our gig will check in via QR code. In the event that one of our guests tests positive for COVID - 19 after attending the gig, we will work with NSW Health to make sure anyone who was in close contact with this person is notified so they can get a test and isolate accordingly.
