Settling Disagreements There is a way Christians should settle disputes amongst themselves that is different from the way of the people of the world. You’ll call the party involved and talk with him. If he doesn’t listen to you invite another Christian, yet still if there is no change tell it to the Pastor of the church. If this still does not work you can treat the person the way you would treat a stranger. • Matthew 18 vs 15 - 17 Sanctify your thoughts As Christians we have to take charge of our thoughts. Thoughts can come to you from God, from your mind based on the information you receive and from the devil. As a Christian you should not allow your mind to dwell on just anything. The Bible gives us a list of things we should dwell on in Phillip 4 vs 8. Be careful on what you dwell on because your mind is the doorway to your spirit. Be careful about the things you watch, read and hear like movies, books, magazines, news, etc. because they could influence your thoughts positively or negatively. • James 1 vs 13 - 15 • Philip 4 vs 8 Principles of Prosperity What is Prosperity • 2 Corinthians 8 vs 9 - 10 • Joshua 1 vs 7 - 8 Purpose of Prosperity • Deuteronomy 8 vs 17 - 18 The Purpose of Prosperity for a Christian is to be a blessing to the kingdom of God (i.e. furtherance of the Gospel) and other people especially fellow Christians.
