You can get this done at the halfway stop on your way to resort or at your welcome meeting. Just let us know what you would like to book and we’ll do the rest. YOUR LIFT PASS If you’ve pre-booked your lift pass with Crystal, it’ll be in your ‘welcome to the mountain’ pack. You can use your lift passes from the day after you arrive. If you’ve not booked one yet, you can see the different types available below. A lost lift pass cannot be replaced, however you can take out an insurance against this loss by going directly to the ticket office with your lift pass. It costs €1.50 per day and please note that this is only available before the lift pass is activated. Lift p ass What’s i ncluded? We recom mend Grandvalira lift pass Access to all slopes in Pas de la Casa and Grandvalira, also including Pal, Arinsal and Arcalis. Free WiFi code Total freedom to ski where you want in any of the areas. YOUR EQUIPMENT If you’ve pre-booked your equipment with Crystal, you can head straight to your hire shop (details below). Just tell them your name and that you’ve booked with Crystal to get your gear. Your hire shop: Shusski. From the hotel turn left and follow the road down, at the fork keep right. You will see a Burger King on you left, take the stairs directly opposite. You will see the blue and white logo for Shusski at the top of the ramp. Opening times: Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 19:00 Friday – Sunday 08:30 – 20:00. If you arrive before the hire shops close, it’s worth going to pick up your equipment the same day. You can still go the next day but give yourself some extra time in case it’s busy. And remember, you’ll need to wear ski socks if you’re hiring boots, and you’ll need to take your own boots with you if you’re just hiring skis or a snowboard. Not sure what equipment you’ll need? We recommend standard if you’re a beginner getting used to the slopes, or you’re a more advanced skier wanting to take it easy. If you’ve got more experience and are looking to improve your existing skills, you should go for intermediate equipment. And advanced is best for experienced skiers who want to use more recent, high-performance equipment. SKI OR BOARD SCHOOL Booking on to ski or snowboard school is the best way to learn and practise your technique. Here in Grandvalira, we work with Grandvalira Ski School. Their uniform is all blue so that it’s easier for our guests to find and identify them. If you’ve pre-booked lessons with Crystal, there’ll be a voucher in your ‘welcome to the mountain’ pack. You’ll need to take this with you on your first day of lessons and give your name to the ski school. Ski school meeting point: Located at the bottom of the slope, next to the totem pole. Behind the lift pass office up the stairs. From the hotel turn left and follow the road down, at the fork keep right. As the road begins to slope down to the left you will see the totem pole and bottom of the slope in front. Arrive at: 9:45am for beginner ski school as it starts at 10am and 1:45pm for intermediate ski school which starts at 2pm. We recommend aiming to arrive at least 15 minutes before the official meeting time. If you still need to book your lessons, your Crystal Rep can help. Just let them know if you’re interested, and we’ll sort the rest. HOW DO I GET TO THE SLOPES? The nearest lift to your hotel is the Solana. From the hotel turn left and follow the road down, at the fork keep right. On your left you will see a Burger King, take the stairs opposite this and you will see the slopes to your right.
