Job Description JOB TITLE Stores Person REPORTING TO: Warehouse Manager RESPONSIBLE FOR: Loading/ offloading and warehousing of goods. Location Belfast Main Duties and Responsibilities • Loading and off-loading of goods and ensuring goods advice notes are accurate. • To ensure that all deliveries to customers are accurate and sent out in a timely manner. • Advise the Warehouse Manager on any issues with stock in terms of levels and quality • Ensure all Company procedures are carried out within the department in relation to the return and receipting of goods. • To ensure that as a representative of the Company, your dress, manner and behaviour is to the professional standards set by the Company. • To ensure that all deliveries are accompanied by the appropriate paperwork. • To participate in training and be available for team meetings as required. • Work within other departments in the Company as requested to meet customer demands. • General housekeeping of the department to ensure all products are adequately stocked in a clean and presentable manner • To ensure that every effort is made to secure the health and safety of both oneself and those affected by your acts or omissions. • To work overtime and carry out other duties from time to time (including stocktaking) at the request of the Branch Manager. This includes a flexible approach to start and finish times outside the normal working day. Whilst this job description reflects the main duties, it is not exhaustive.
