Choosing the right mosaic size for your shower pan comes down to geometry. The floor slopes. The tiles must follow that slope. For most showers, a 2x2 inch porcelain mosaic is the best choice. It balances traction, cleanability, and ease of installation. If your slope is steep, drop down to 1x1 inch. If you hate cleaning grout, you can push to a 3x3, but check your slope carefully.
