Eddie is the type of low-level crook that needs one more good job to escape his past and live his future with his daughter. There is a far bolder version of "Locked" that introduces us to an actual villain named Eddie and then makes us wonder whether his fate is a kind of retribution, but that isn't the film here. This one isn't even dangerous enough to allow Eddie's inciting incident to turn into a real break-in.
