not yet availableDas Zeitalter der immer weiter fortschreitenden Digitalisierung und die stetige Verbesserung der technischen Rahmenbedingungen bieten Forschungseinrichtung neue Mittel und Wege, ihre gewonnenen Daten zu archivieren und öffentlich zugänglich zu machen. Nicht selten gehen damit rechtliche Problematiken einher. Angefangen bei der Frage, wem denn diese Daten „gehören“ bis hin zu der Problematik, ob bestimmte Daten überhaupt archiviert werden dürfen und wer für einen eventuellen Datenverlust haften muss. Das vorliegende Werk legt dabei besonderes Augenmerk auf die urheberrechtlichen, datenschutzrechtlichen sowie haftungsrechtlichen Problematiken, welche eine digitale Archivierung mit sich bringen kann. Des Weiteren wird beleuchtet, welche Überlegungen im Vorfeld einer Archivierung angestellt werden müssen und welche Maßnahmen getroffen werden sollten, um rechtlichen Schwierigkeiten vorzubeugen. Die Arbeit soll daher auch als rechtlicher Leitfaden für Archivierungsprojekte dienen, weshalb unter anderem auch Vorschläge für die Formulierung entsprechender Vertragsklauseln enthalten sind. Aus diesem Grund wird außerdem ausführlich auf die rechtlichen Konsequenzen von Verstößen gegen urheber- und datenschutzrechtliche Vorschriften eingegangen.

Das Zeremoniell des Wiener Hofs regelt den Jahresablauf und definiert die Rolle des Herrschers sowie das Verhalten und die Aufgaben seines Hofstaats. Um einen Überblick über dieses komplexe Beziehungsgeflecht zu erlagen, erstellte der Wiener Oberzeremonienmeister Gundacker Heinrich Graf Wurmbrand um 1812 ein „Etiquette-Normale", das von Karin Schneider wissenschaftlich bearbeitet und herausgegeben wurde. Darin gibt Wurmbrand Einblicke in die höfischen Festivitäten und Rituale und beschreibt die Aufgaben der einzelnen Hofbediensteten. Die Erarbeitung des „Etiquette-Normales" fällt in die für die Formierung des Kaisertums Österreich zentrale Phase zwischen dessen Gründung 1804, dem Ende des römisch-deutschen Kaiserreichs 1806 und dem Wiener Kongress 1814/15. Damit spiegelt es das Selbstverständnis des neu begründeten Kaisertums und spielt eine wichtige Rolle bei der Legitimation des neuen Herrschaftstitels.

Attachment is a biologically emotion regulation based system guiding cognitive and emotional processes with respect to intimate and significant relationships. Secure relationships promote infants’ exploration of the world and expand their mastery of the environment. Adverse attachment experiences like, maltreatment, loss, and separation have long been known to have enduring unfavorable effects on human mental health. Research on the neurobiological basis of attachment started with animal studies focusing on emotional deprivation and its behavioral, molecular and endocrine consequences. The present book presents an interdisciplinary synthesis of existing knowledge and new perspectives on the human neuroscience of attachment, showing the tremendous development of this field. The following chapters include innovative studies that are representative of the broad spectrum of current approaches. These involve both differing neurobiological types of substrates using measures like fMRI, EEG, psychophysiology, endocrine parameters, and genetic polymorphisms, as well as psychometric approaches to classify attachment patterns in individuals. The findings we have acquired in the meanwhile on the neural substrates of attachment in healthy subjects lay the foundation of studies with clinical groups. The final section of the book addresses evidence on changes in the functioning of these neural substrates in psychopathology.

Ninety percent of lives claimed by injuries occur in low- and middle-income countries. This special issue, A Million Person Household Survey: Understanding the Burden of Injuries in Bangladesh, aims to assess these injuries—including falls, drowning, burns, road traffic injuries — to inform efforts to reduce the burden they cast on millions of people and families in a low income country. This issue offers a unique collection of research on the epidemiology of fatal and non-fatal injuries in Bangladesh.Based on a survey of more than one million people, this research—conducted by the International Injury Research Unit, Department of International Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and two Bangladesh partners, the Center for Injury Prevention and Research and the International Center for Diarrheal Disease Research, Bangladesh with funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies, was part of a large-scale, population-based, child-drowning prevention project called “Saving of Lives from Drowning in Bangladesh.” The project tested the large-scale effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of evidence-based interventions to reduce drowning related deaths for children less than five years of age (reported elsewhere). We hope this data will be useful to researchers, students, practitioners and national decision makers.

Barnaby Rudge: A Tale of the Riots of Eighty (commonly known as Barnaby Rudge) is a historical novel by British novelist Charles Dickens. Barnaby Rudge was one of two novels (the other was The Old Curiosity Shop) that Dickens published in his short-lived (1840–1841) weekly serial Master Humphrey's Clock. Barnaby Rudge is largely set during the Gordon Riots of 1780. Barnaby Rudge was the fifth of Dickens' novels to be published. It had originally been planned to appear as his first, but changes of publisher led to many delays, and it first appeared in serial form in the Clock from February to November 1841. It was Dickens' first historical novel. His only other is the much later A Tale of Two Cities, also set in revolutionary times. It is one of his less popular novels and has rarely been adapted for film or television. The last production was a 1960 BBC production; prior to that, silent films were made in 1911 and 1915. An authoritative account of the life and achievements of George Morley, who was for years a teacher at Christ Church, Oxford, before becoming Dean of the College, and then ultimately the Bishop of Worcester and then Winchester. He was as such an important C17th figure, even beyond the University of Oxford and Dioceses of Worcester and Winchester, and fundamentally entwined nationally in the heightened political and religious controversies of his time. He was involved in the restoration of the monarch in 1660, as well as in the consequent deliberations regarding a settlement with a view to establishing church unity in the subsequent decades.He was also a man who straddled cultures and political epochs, born at the end of the C16th and living through much of the C17th, thus a life that began in the era of the Gunpowder plot and which ended in the run-up to the so-called Glorious Revolution. This meant that Morley’s personal and professional evolution touches on moments of extraordinary tumult and contention, requiring him to develop profound skills of negotiation, compromise, and bridge-building. As such he become a skilled mediator, a diplomat at a time when this was most in demand.
