Bizcon 23 Dates – 9 th and 10 th march. Events Day 1 – 9 th March 1. Inaugurations/ Panel Discussion Topic - Becoming an Entrepreneur from Wantrepreneur Timings 11:00 am to 12:00 pm 2. War of words (debate competition) Timing 12:30pm to 1:30pm No. of Participants: Ma x 2 This event consists of 2 rounds A random topic will be given to the teams by drawing a chit The teams will be choosing whether to speak ‘for’ the topic or ‘against’ the topic Score s given by the judges will be final. Round 1: 1. Each team will be given 2 minutes to prepare for the allocated topic. 2. Each team will speak for 2 minutes on the topic. 3. Last 1minute will be Rebuttal round Top 4 teams will be sent to the next round. Round 2: 1. The team will compete against the Judge in this round 2. The team can choose whether they’ve to speak ‘for’ the topic or ‘against’ the topic 3. This will be a Rebuttal r ound. 3. Bid ring ( game of Stock market ) Timings 2:30pm to 3:30pm 4. V - stall & Internship Fair Timings 11:00am to 4:30pm Day 2 – 10 th March 1. Vyapaar Timings 11:00am to 1:00pm No. of participants: Max. 4 & Min. 2 1. The teams will have to prepare a PowerPoint presentation of their respective idea. 2. The pitching time for each team will be 8 minutes followed by 2 minutes of Q n A by the Judges 3. The presentation must include: 4 Ps of Marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion), SWOT analysis, Breakeven point, Type of pricing & the Cost Sheet 4. Investors will be providing funds to the team based on their interest & conditions. 5. The amount invested by the Investor may vary from team to t eam based on their liking. 2. Neelami (Auction): Timings 1:30pm to 3:00pm No. of participants: Max. 3 & Min.2 Consists of 2 rounds. Each team will be given virtual capital of 1 lakh for bidding. Round 1: 1. 3 teams will be given same industry. 2. Each industry will have 10 products. 3. Each product will be shown one by one as the auction proceeds 4. Each team must purchase minimum 3 products. 5. T he team purchasing maximum products ( i.e. , 4 products), will be the qualifying team Round 2 : 1. The qualified teams must come up with a startup idea based on the products that they’ve purchased 2. They’ve to prepare a PowerPoint presentation for the pitch 3. The ppt must include: USP, Mission, Vision, Target audience & problem solving statement Pitch time: 8 minutes for each team followed by Q n A by the judges 3. Between the line (Case study) T imings 3:00pm to 5:30pm No. of participants : Max 2 1. Registered participants will be given a case study one day prior. 2. Participants need to solve the case make a ppt and present into the judges. 3. Participants will be given 10mins to present. 4. V - stall & Internship Fair Timings 11:00am to 4:30pm
