The Treatment Rooms Braintree Website Proposal By Gareth Davies V1.0 Overview: The client would has stated that they already have a website built using WordPress CMS. After initial inspection I can see that the website fits the purpose of the client well and would not need much work to get up to the required standard. For all the es sential work I would be able to complete within 4 - 5 days. The client has also stated that the website needs optimisation doing to the website. I have inspected the website both on desktop using Chrome, Edge and Firefox and on Mobile devices. I can conclu de that the website is not mobile responsive in regards to the text on most of the pages. Looking at SEO, I can also conclude minimal SEO has been worked into the core of the website. This was something I did not anticipate when I approached the client, however, it is fixable, just with some more time. Below is a headed list of things I propose will be a high priority to be rectified: Fixing Mobile Views The main issue I have assessed with the website is the mobile responsiveness on many of the pages. This only really affects the text with it being 100% on the width no matter the screen size. I can correct this by simply correcting the margin and padding of each page to dynamically change depending on screen size. Some of the buttons also will need f ixing but again, this can be corrected with some CSS classing applied. SEO The websites SEO is not great but not terrible. I have assessed local competition and can conclude there isn’t much in terms of other websites in the local area with this topic of interest. I do not believe it to be an issue regarding getting on the first page of Google etc... Keywording the homepage’s meta tag will be something I propose we do, this way Google robots can index the site correctly along with other pages. Load Tim es The website load times are sufficient; however, I believe they can be faster. The website seems to load quite well but due to the “chat” plugin embedded on the website. This seems to load in quite large amounts of resources. I propose fixing this with simple caching on the website. This way the server doesn’t need to load resources everytime the page is loaded. Quality of life things I could change – This is completely optional but as part of my assessment I like to include. - The booking system s eems to be embedded externally, there are solutions in WordPress that allow this to be integrated into the website and interact with other features. This also could mean you take payments. - Taking payments over the website – I suggest looking at taking payments via the website. It doesn’t have to be complicated but could also boost your earnings has a business and attract new clientele who would like it to be done. Integrating a simple checkout system would be simple enough. Cost: I try and keep my costs to a minimum, but I believe these to be fair and affordable. For the optimisation ( SEO, Mobile Responsive and Load Times ) - £30 ( originally I did not take into consideration the SEO ). For the “Quality of Life” improvements I would charge some where in the region of £60 - £80. Originally I did not suggest re building your website, but I’d like to give you a quote anyway if this is the route you want to go down. I can fully spec out the site, with it’s own custom design and layout but you’d be l ooking in the region of £500 with lifetime hosting, support by me.
