Open House is an exciting day where all are invited to come see what Sasamat Outdoor Centre is all about. You can tour our grounds, try some classic camp activities, as well as meet our wonderful staff and Community Board Members. Open House is an excellent opportunity for children who will be attending summer camp for the first time to get familiarized with Sasamat , you can see where they will be playing, sleeping, eating, and meet some of our staff and counsellors! A hotdog lunch and various Sasamat apparel will be available for purchase. All proceeds will directly go to our “Send a Kid to Camp” campaign, helping families in need of financial assistance send their child to camp. Some of our most popular and fun camp activities, such as voyageur canoe, archery, low ropes and rock climbing will be open to try. Our friendly staff will be there to guide you through instruction and safe use of the equipment.
