The Jesus Journey is a yearlong study that follows the life of Jesus from the beginning of his public ministry through his ascension, arranged in the chronological order of the four Gospels. Reading the Gospels as a continuous narrative reveals the methods and strategies Jesus used to launch a movement that multiplied disciples. As Jesus says in John 17:4, "I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do" — a work marked by perfect obedience and the intentional investment of a few who would go on to invest in others. Through each week's readings, you'll discover how Jesus lived and how you can live like Jesus did. ✓ WEEK READINGS January 12 - 18 Jesus’ Baptism by John: Matthew 3:13–17 —Mark 1:9–11 — Luke 3:21–23a Jesus’ Temptation in the Desert: Matthew 4:1–11 — Mark 1:12–13 — Luke 4:1–13 John’s Testimony About Himself to the Priests: John 1:19–28 John’s Testimony to Jesus as the Son of God: John 1:29–34 January 19 -
