This is something that hotels excel at. There's a reason why 90% of hotels have the same layout: it's straightforward and effective. En suite suites (bedrooms with attached bathrooms) or bedrooms with doors to the outside make circulation designs a little more difficult. Pay attention to where you put the bathroom and closet in your bedroom to conserve space. A longer hall is required in rooms with toilet or closet access before to the sleeping area (see the left-hand plan). You can eliminate the requirement for a separate corridor by arranging the circulation such that the bathroom and closet are accessible from the sleeping area (right-hand plan). Take into account the furniture arrangement The layout and design of your master bedroom should take your furniture into consideration. A bed wall is always present in bedroom floor plans, but what about dressers, nightstands, televisions, chairs, and a desk? Consult your architect or designer to ensure that the bedroom furniture plan allows enough space beside the bed for nightstands and adequate circulation so that you can access all three sides of the mattress. Increase the amount of light and ventilation If you put your bedroom in the corner of your house, you'll have windows on two or more of the neighbouring walls. This can provide you with softer natural light as well as adequate ventilation; this is particularly useful for compact bedroom designs.
