In the case of Granite House, having reasoned the idea through and observed the cryptocurrency environment, this document discusses three crucial ideas that are essential to Granite House’s success. They are the three main pillars upon which Granite House would be founded as a billion dollar project. These pillars are: Difference, Excellence & Marketing. Together they may be referred to as the DEM strategy or pillars. We are confident that upon these three pillars, Granite House would not only grow to become a billion dollar protocol but go further and achieve even greater milestones. 1. Difference Granite House uses the word difference to capture the ideas of innovation. By difference we are referencing unique ideas that tweak either current products or services or go a step further and come up with new ideas that are entirely different from what is on the market. There is no point in Granite House existing to copy and do exactly what others are doing and not even tweaking what is being done. After all, what greater purpose or solution are we offering if that is all we do? In a fiercely crowded and competitive market, trying to just be like others renders our existence of no effect or essence and defeats any ideas of growing to become a billion dollar protocol. Page 2 of 6 After all, the market is very competitive and cruel in a sense and has a knack of weeding out projects that do not add anything to the space. Even in the case where they do not go out of business completely, they are not rewarded with an impressive market cap. Granite House would strive to avoid such a fate or outcome. Hopefully, this document would serve as a guide to ensure we not only launch and become like any other protocol out there, but instead amount to something of significance. 1.1 Incremental Innovation It’s imperative for Granite House to always think about the word difference or innovation, and consider on a constant basis how we can do what is already being done and tweak it further. Yes, innovation doesn’t always mean that we have to do something completely different to what is being done out there. Innovation could be incremental. In this sense, just adding to what is out there by considering what is being done and thinking back to first principles and reasoning what could be improved to the current products on the market. This thinking and reasoning would open up ideas of where improvement could be sought and achieved. There is wisdom in this as when people come to use Granite House’s products and services they would find them better than what is out there on the market. By discussing this idea of incremental innovation we would always be on the lookout as we seek further improvement and tweaks to what we do. The rehearsed idea that when it’s not broken don’t fix it, would not be accepted at Granite House. We would actively seek to tweak our products and services to add some freshness and make them far better than they are. A constant question to occupy our thoughts would be this: Where and how can we make this better? Page 3 of 6 1.2 Groundbreaking Innovation Whereas incremental innovation is great and could keep us in business and deliver great success, we are mindful that if it is our goal to be truly great and enjoy even greater success, we have a duty to push the boundaries even further and chart new courses or seek to break new grounds and blaze new trials. We have a duty to out-think the competition by stepping outside ourselves and demonstrating the value of Strong Belief as per our Granite House Culture (GHD004). We need the strong belief to be able to dream and be daring enough to step forward and implement those great ideas that we come out with. This is of imperative importance in the wider scheme of affairs. We have to think, but also be careful we do not suffer analysis paralysis and be stuck with all the thinking and not able to go out and do something. This means that while we are cautious and conscientious and will spend time thinking and reasoning through our options, we won’t get too bogged down just thinking to the extent that we do nothing. We have the can-do mentality that means that we are bold to step out and implement those ideas and not afraid to fail. We must trust that the time taken to think about our innovative ideas would reduce the chances of failure and reduce recklessness in approach which happens to cause the downfall of other inventors. Finding that right balance is what Granite House would seek. The benefit of our difference would afford us an opportunity to come up with products and services that meet and fulfil a need and equally grant us first-mover advantages by so doing. Moreover, we would remain in business without becoming irrelevant. Page 4 of 6 2. Excellence Excellence captures the main point or central thought that whatever Granite House does has to be of the highest quality and utility. Quality means the essential or distinctive characteristic, property, or attribute while utility captures the idea of the state or quality of being useful. In that sense we are talking about useful products and services that don’t only work but are outstanding in looks as well. As an example, a person may not go to a restaurant just because the food is cooked well (which is important), but perhaps due to the service that comes with it. And that is what Granite House wants to do and achieve. We want to achieve difference as discussed above, and are keen to go further and ensure that those products that we innovate also pass the excellence test. This idea has to be central to everything that we do: The product must not only work and be safe and secure; it has to be aesthetically pleasing to say the least. Granite House must carve an image as a platform where the offered products are rigorous, strong and firm but equally beautiful and boast visual appeal. Perhaps this excellence test is where too many projects fail in crypto. They are so hastily rushed to the market and not thought through and the consequence is that they are of poor quality when perhaps more time could have been spent refining them. Granite House would be intentional in testing and making sure that before it puts anything out there, it has thought it through and tested it and passed the rigorous Granite House excellence test before it sees the light of day. After all, there is not much point in rushing to come out with a poor quality product that damages a valuable brand and affects future sales and profits. Page 5 of 6 The goal is clear: Granite House must only put out excellent products and services that are true to the brand we are seeking to build. 3. Marketing The first two ideas of difference and excellence are important, but the idea of marketing is equally crucial. After all, what is the point of creating the most beautiful groundbreaking product that anyone could imagine but perhaps you hide it in a garage and no- one knows or hears about it? Granite House is intentional in keeping its eye on the ultimate objective of becoming a billion dollar project and continuing to remain profitable to those associated with it and making a contribution to crypto. To that extent we have reasoned ideas through and are confident of the following. Through difference we would seek improvement to the current products and services in crypto and beyond as well as push boundaries; through excellence we would deliver the most outstanding quality solution in products and services; and through marketing, we would drum up the message and ensure that the news about Granite House is bruited about. We are deliberate in this approach. Perhaps one problem that makes crypto pump and dump and hype is that the first two points above are not focused on. There is lack of innovation with products just copying the same idea and repeating what others are doing without giving it much thought. And even then they do it so poorly. What happens though is just hype using marketing and when people come on board and realise what it is all about they jump off board as quickly as they jumped in. That happens to be Page 6 of 6 the unfortunate state of affairs. In the light of the foregoing, Granite House would focus on difference first, excellence second, and then marketing once we have something worthwhile to offer. We won’t go wrong on this order. When it comes to marketing we would not leave any stone unturned. We would follow our Granite House Marketing and Community Strategy (GHD015) and ensure that we use every available offline and online media channel to ensure that we spread the message of Granite House and give our protocol the greatest exposure possible. 4. Blending This Together Think about building something like a flying car. A curious engineer spends all his time in his workshop pushing the limits and tweaking engineering ideas and even breaks new grounds in the process. He then further ensures his flying car works and is of the best quality. What remains is to sell it out there and market it till everyone knows about it. Missing any of the steps of difference, excellence and marketing would not result in a successful project. Our overriding goal remains to marry these three ideas and make them the major pillars that Granite House is built upon. In successfully executing this objective we would achieve our goal of reaching and becoming a billion dollar project and remain a profitable long-term protocol as we rise to great heights and chalk even greater success.
