Electricity generation from renewable sources of energy has had a long history in Germany and is highly topical. This paper deals with both aspects. A sociological analysis of technology shows how innovative technologies gradually emerged from the Utopian vision of 'velvet' energies, which became the basis of the rapidly growing regenerative electricity production. The second aspect of the paper is an analysis of the growing potential - as well as possible obstacles - of regenerative energies. The expansion of energy production from renewable sources and the tendency towards the concentration of such installations (e.g. large wind farms or solar parks) is increasingly met with opposition from the public. In addition, it is felt that considerable changes in the energy sector can only be successful if its promoters become more active.Die Stromproduktion aus erneuerbaren Energien in Deutschland hat sowohl eine Jahrzehnte lange Geschichte als auch hohe Aktualität. Die vorliegende Untersuchung greift beide Aspekte auf. Zum einen wird im Rahmen einer soziologischen Technikanalyse herausgearbeitet, wie aus der utopischen Vision sanfter Energien allmählich sich verfestigende und politisch geförderte Innovations- und Technikpfade hervorgingen und zur Grundlage des gegenwärtig rapide wachsenden regenerativen Stromsektors wurden. Zum anderen liegt der Schwerpunkt der Studie auf der Analyse aktueller Entwicklungspotenziale der erneuerbaren Energien sowie möglicher Hemmnisse und ambivalenter Folgen ihrer Expansion. p. führen die zunehmende Verbreitung regenerativer Stromproduktion sowie die Tendenz zur Zentralisierung bestimmter Erzeugungstechniken (zum Beispiel große Wind- oder Solarparks) nicht selten zu Widerständen in der Bevölkerung sowie zu Kontroversen innerhalb des ökologischen Lagers. Darüber hinaus zeichnet sich ab, dass der durch die Expansion der erneuerbaren Energien eingeleitete Transformationsprozess des deutschen Stromsektors nur dann erfolgreich weitergeführt werden kann, wenn die Akteure der Regenerativbranche mehr als bisher aktiv zur Netz- und Systemeinbindung erneuerbarer Stromquellen beitragen.

Al estudiar la regla o cláusula de exclusión probatoria dentro del ordenamiento interno colombiano, se entiende que la regla general es la prohibición de aducir elementos de prueba que sean resultado de injerencias arbitrarias en la intimidad de las personas; por excepción, estas solamente se pueden practicar después de orden judicial, so pena de que los resultados sean excluidos del proceso. Sin embargo, en la práctica hay casos que presentan un desarrollo diferente a lo que han venido planteando la legislación y la jurisprudencia nacional, y ello se ilustrará a través de tres casos de referencia. En contraste, la regla de exclusión ha tenido un tratamiento diferente a la luz del derecho internacional, principalmente en el derecho internacional humanitario, derecho internacional de los derechos humanos y el derecho internacional penal. Siendo así, el planteamiento y principal objeto de esta obra se enfoca en la siguiente interrogación: ¿cuáles son las diferencias entre el derecho nacional y el derecho internacional sobre la regla de exclusión? La búsqueda de la respuesta impone revisar la consistencia de la posición de la Corte Constitucional cuando afirma que la regla que contiene el Estatuto de Roma es equiparable a la regla de exclusión nacional, según la Sentencia C-578 de 2002.

Fuzzy Logic is a good model for the human ability to compute words. It is based on the theory of fuzzy set. A fuzzy set is different from a classical set because it breaks the Law of the Excluded Middle. In fact, an item may belong to a fuzzy set and its complement at the same time and with the same or different degree of membership. The degree of membership of an item in a fuzzy set can be any real number included between 0 and 1. This property enables us to deal with all those statements of which truths are a matter of degree. Fuzzy logic plays a relevant role in the field of Artificial Intelligence because it enables decision-making in complex situations, where there are many intertwined variables involved. Traditionally, fuzzy logic is implemented through software on a computer or, even better, through analog electronic circuits. Recently, the idea of using molecules and chemical reactions to process fuzzy logic has been promoted. In fact, the molecular word is fuzzy in its essence. The overlapping of quantum states, on the one hand, and the conformational heterogeneity of large molecules, on the other, enable context-specific functions to emerge in response to changing environmental conditions. Moreover, analog input–output relationships, involving not only electrical but also other physical and chemical variables can be exploited to build fuzzy logic systems. The development of “fuzzy chemical systems” is tracing a new path in the field of artificial intelligence. This new path shows that artificially intelligent systems can be implemented not only through software and electronic circuits but also through solutions of properly chosen chemical compounds. The design of chemical artificial intelligent systems and chemical robots promises to have a significant impact on science, medicine, economy, security, and wellbeing. Therefore, it is my great pleasure to announce a Special Issue of Molecules entitled “The Fuzziness in Molecular, Supramolecular, and Systems Chemistry.” All researchers who experience the Fuzziness of the molecular world or use Fuzzy logic to understand Chemical Complex Systems will be interested in this book.

Every human action consumes energy: heating, cooling, hot water, electricity and transport requirements – all of these require energy. But climate change demands that our energy needs also change, that we use more and more renewable energies and less and less C02. To do this, we must look at area requirements. In other words, what area per energy quantity per year does a renewable energy source require? Which sources require additional sealing and land use? How strongly does the production of renewable energy compete with other area and land uses? And what are the consequences for spatial and regional planning? The following publication will help answer these questions by providing a catalogue of area requirements for renewable energy sites. In addition, it makes clear that achieving integrated and regional energy planning involves not only energy technology, but requires further research into planning and participation processes. The concept of a regional cooperation area shows great potential in this aspect

Similarity has long been excluded from reality in both the analytical and continental traditions. Because it exists in the aesthetic realm, and because aesthetics is thought to be divorced from objective reality, similarity has been confined to the prison of the subject. In The Being of Analogy, Noah Roderick unleashes similarity onto the world of objects. Inspired by object-oriented theories of causality, Roderick argues that similarity is ever present at the birth of new objects. This includes the emergent similarity of new mental objects, such as categories—a phenomenon we recognize as analogy. Analogy, Roderick contends, is at the very heart of cognition and communication, and it is through analogy that we can begin dismantling the impossible wall between knowing and being.
