This report intends to evaluate a Business Model Canvas for a proposed start-up idea inspired by prefabricated housing and cloud manufacturing. The idea revolves mainly around the concept of delivering home units and allowing the clients to involve in the design and customization processes through a DIY experience as well as through the involvement of construction companies that may overlook some aspects of the projects. The particular concept has been selected as it could be a potential application across developing countries around the world. The report would discuss the idea in terms of the start-up idea itself, business model canvas and what the start-up idea hopes to achieve with the application of it, analysis of the canvas in terms of the nine specific blocks, and competitive advantages of the segments.
