Because of that, the end of the season for many series has been inconvenienced to say the least, as well as delayed future events. If you notice a glitch that affects the game in a major way, notify us here at The Rut, as well as voicing a public complaint to @supercrossthegame. As a whole we are strong, so let’s work together to get them to fix the game in the future. We were very successful in getting the devs to get on a somewhat fast patch. Also in our break, we’ve decided to pick up StreetTactics MX Nationals as a series to cover. Keep an eye out for their posts on IG! YOU DO NOT WANNA MISS THESE. Races will be held on Sundays and will consist of qualifying in which the top 4 from each 4 session are locked into their night show spot, while the rest battle it out for a top 4 spot in the LCQ. After that it is two 20 minute motos on some awesome tracks made by series owner, Williebarz. Also added to The Rut’s coverage was JoyStick Racing, founded by Ckdesignedby, this series is a throwback replica series that focuses more on the technical side of the game. Some different obstacles and tricky turns. Be on the lookout for both of these 5 6/18/21 - AOSX - Round 1 The Pro Custom Track Series kicked off their first round in Toronto Friday night on a course that definitely gave even the top riders some headaches. Starting it off early it was the defending AOSX champion, Axiss___ taking the top spot in qualifying with a 52.224, which was six-tenths faster than his teammate, umslurp__, and a full second faster than his main competition from last season, Squalay. Parker7574 and WasabiBMX57 would qualify in the 4 and 5 spots. 6 With the pros and ams being split, there has been a small number change but a huge talent change. All heats are mostly stacked with top tier competition making it more of a struggle than ever with AOSX’s new format. Unfortunately there was no stream for the race Friday evening so I am unable to inform of any heat winners or Semi winners. There are rider lists for each race posted throughout the article. 7 The A Main Event was sure to be one for the books with the defending champion having a bigger target on his back than ever. Out of the gate it was ItzzHockeyDrew with the holeshot and early lead. But custom tracks add that wild card factor that can bring the best out in some riders and the worst in others. Hockey would end up falling to 6th on the night. Your cover rider for the week, Squalay, and would finish in a humble 3rd place standing with WasabiBMX57 right behind him. 8 Parker7574 would do some damage control for the week with a nice 5th place finish. The talk of the week was what was happening up front. At the start of the race, your defending champ, Axiss, would be help up in the first turn setting him on course for a battle through the pack. Once finally reaching second, it was his teammate, Umslurp, who was pulling away from the pack. With axiss battling with the likes of Parker, Wasabi, and Squalay, it would take much more time for him to get clean air and track down the sophomore teammate. 9 The night would end with your champion in the runner-up spot as it was Umslurp taking the opener win and the points lead heading into round 2. Full results can be found above. Be sure to check out the stream next weekend as we look for even better racing and drama to continue! 10 6/13/21 - StreetTactics MX Nationals - Round 1 The StreetTactics MX Nationals is a new series covered by The Rut that is unique in its own way. A series that is what it sounds like. Motorcross on a Supercross game. As the season pushes on, this will prove to be some great racing! The track for the evening was Snake Skin MX by Williebarz. The track was very technical with a very high speed twist. Riders would see struggle with the latter half of the track with the 11 tricky flat sweepers into big lines. All-in-all the track was a beast to me. Riders participated in two qualifying lobbies, of which, only 8 total people would get their ticket to the night show directly from qualifying. Those eight, in no specific order, were: Axiss___, RDizzle716, Iowahawkeyes_, Parker7574, Williebarz, BullDGN, BB8HeadLean, and Tallon214. The rest were sent to the LCQ to Duke it out over the final four night show gates. After the LCQ would see Sxcory, lwindex, LaneOnStix, and I-xG00Nx-I survive and make it to the night show. With being on MX tracks with short races it’s only about three laps these riders had to secure a transfer. It was some great racing. 12 The night show would consist of two 20 minute motos scored in traditional format. With riders such as Axiss___, Rdizzle, Iowahawkeyes_, and Parker7574 it was sure to be some great racing, and that’s only ⅓ of the riders who were in the night show. The first moto would see Axiss out in front of defending STSX champion, Rdizzle716, with BullDGN close behind. Parker7574 and STSX runner-up, Iowhawkeyes_ rounded out the top 5 in moto 1. Moto 2 would offer up closer racing as we saw the top 5 a lot tighter than they were in the moto prior. By moto 2 the riders were accustomed to the technicality the course had to offer and there were battles all over the track; from first, second, and third and then pairs of riders battling for extended lengths of the moto. It would be 13 Axiss___ and RDizzle716 once again in the one and two spots but this time Tallon214 would throw his name in the mix with a third place finish in moto 2 after a mid-pack 7th place finish in Moto 1. Sxcory, who beat Tallon in Moto 1 by one position, would then have the tables turned on him and be one-upped and a step off the podium. IowaHawkeyes_ would be the only other rider to finish in the same position in Moto 2 as Moto 1, with a fifth. Overall points can be found above. 14 6/13/21 - JoyStick Racing - Round 1 Another new series being covered this season is JoyStick Racing. This series is a custom track series that runs replica 2009 AMA Supercross tracks. This series is brand new and shows a lot of promise. The tracks are designed to be a little more realistically played with tricky walls and sand sections. 15 The first round was a success as they were able to fill a full night show gate. Kulusionxx would steal the show and walk away until 2 minutes to go, he would experience connection issues but was granted the win due to such a lead. In second place was McDingerCity32 who was showing some serious speed on the Rd. 1 course all night would finish just in front of CKdesignedby. As the series moves forward and grows we look to have more to cover and even live streams for you to catch all the racing action. Make sure you check them out on Sunday evenings. They are at a different start time as the Street Tactics MX nationals. 16 6/14/21 - AOSX-Ams - Round The long-awaited AOSX Amateur series kicked off Monday night at 8 o’clock. The series is a branch off of the largest eMoto series on the platform. The rider turnout for the evening would be some familiar names from the first AOSX season. These are the guys riding in the 17 shadow that have now been brought to the light for some front-running competition before their bid for the pro class. The night would start off seeing ItzVapor740 take the pole qualifying spot with a blistering 56.898. It would be his THC Factory Racing teammate, I-xG00Nx-I in the #2 spot with a 57.132 and in third was another fellow THC Factory Racing rider BB8HeadLean with a 57.434. SamuelyzB would 18 qualify in the fourth spot and ImTheFatFriend would take the last top 5 spot. Heat 1 would see transfers from BhBlackHawk, IHaveAFatFriend, SamuelyzB, ImXerex, RicRoc90, and I-xG00Nx-I. Heat 2 transfers were a lot closer with some luck for some riders and despair for others. The remaining riders who made the first A Main event for the ams were ImTheFatFriend, Williebarz, LukeSparks19, Jballz_723, 19 Beansmoked, and ItzVapor. Yes both the top 2 qualifiers just making the final transfers. With the proof that anything can happen in this series, we awaited A Main gate drop. Claiming the holeshot award for the AOSX Ams in round 1 would be Beansmoked, followed closely by BhBlackHawk, JBallz_723, and TheFatFriends. Things in the beginning of the main moved so fast we can’t even start to 20 explain it. The race settled in around the 16 minutes to go mark and we would see IHaveAFatFriend in the lead with BhBlackHawk on his heels. ItzVapor and Goon would yo-yo their way around the pack with unfortunate luck and sub-par consistency plaguing their race, they jumped from the rear of the pack to the front and back to the rear again. But it was TheFatFriends and BHBLACKHAWK showing the most
