Register as a seller using https://sellercenter.jumia.com.ng/user/signup/dostep/step/1 Access the seller platform (Seller Center) using https://sellercenter.jumia.com.ng/ Access your library (Vendor Hub) using https://vendorhub.jumia.com.ng/ FIVE KEY THINGS TO NOTE ★ Know when you have an order and have enough time to FULFILL them within 48 hours ★ Look at SELLER COACH recommendations and make Smart Business Decisions on pricing, replenishment, content ★ Spend time improving your content and think RAPID: Rating, Assortment, Price, Image, Description ★ Look for products with good conversion rate to invest SPONSORED PRODUCTS credit on ★ Look out for the NEXT BIG PROMOTION to make sure you are ready with great prices and deep stock PRODUCT UPLOAD METHODS Method 1: Sell Yours Step 1: Log into Seller Center (https://sellercenter.jumia.com.ng/) with your registered email address and password Step 2 : Open a new tab and type in the Jumia homepage link (jumia.com.ng) Step 3 : Search for the product you want to sell in the search bar (jumia.com.ng) Step 4 : Pay attention to all the details and ensure you find a product with exact color, design, logo, brand, image and other specifications Step 5: Click on sell yours once you find the product Every piece of information about that product will be automatically copied to your Seller Center page except the price. Step 6 : On the product pricing tab, you either see variation (for non-fashion items) or size (for fashion items). The field variation can be left blank; select the right size for fashion-related items. Step 7 : Enter your seller SKU (a unique code you generate yourself to help identify and differentiate products in your store. E.g CAM1001, MEX5002, IPH7SD). Step 8a: Enter the quantity available and price per unit. Step 8b: This is optional. Complete the sale fields if you want to give a discount on the product. The sale price should be lower than the original price. Put in the start and end dates. Step 9: Click More Products Details tab and type in your store name under product line Step 10: Scroll down the page and click submit and finish NB: All submitted products need to be reviewed for clarity and will be approved if they meet the quality standard. Method 2: Create from Scratch Step 1: Log into seller center (https://sellercenter.jumia.com.ng/) with your registered email address and password Step 2: Click on the products tab Step 3: Click Add a Product Step 4: Click create a new product i Step 5: Search or browse to find your product’s category, click on it and click select at the base of the page Step 6: Complete the fields Name, Brand, Model (if applicable) and Main Color. For products without actual brand names, use “Fashion” as brand name if the product is fashion related and use “Generic” if it’s not fashion related. Your highlight must be in bullet points and you should have a minimum of 5 bullet points about the product. Step 9: Click enter product variations Step 10: On the product pricing tab, you either see variation (for non-fashion items) or size (for fashion items). The field variation can be left blank; select the right size for fashion-related items. Step 11: For products with multiple sizes, click Add another product variation and complete the new fields. Step 12: Click Upload Images Step 13: Click browse to upload your product images. Images should be a minimum of 200 x 200 pixels and a maximum of 2000 x 2000 pixels. Images should be clear without watermarks or writings on them. Find more information on how to upload products, view details COMMISSION AND SHIPPING FEE Jumia charges commission and shipping fee ONLY on items successfully delivered to customers. Commission and shipping fees vary by category. To check your commission/shipping fee, follow these steps: Step 1: Click on the Settings tab in seller center Step 2: Click Your Profile Step 3: Click on commission and fees Step 4: Click view at the extreme right of the page for either commission or shipping fee to reveal commission/shipping fee grouped by category. Step 5: Click the + sign to expand categories and show sub-categories. Once you find the – sign for a sub-category and the message “no sub-categories found”, that shows the actual commission/shipping fee for that category.
