The details of the kit used to perform this test can be made available upon request. A positive result indicates the presence of SARS-CoV-2 RNA in the sample. Please correlate with clinical and epidemiological data and repeat the test if indicated. A negative report does not rule out the presence of SARS-CoV-2 RNA in the sample because there may have been errors in sample collection or the viral RNA level in the sample may be less than the limit of detection of the kit.
