Generally, no manual adjustment is needed—it can automatically adjust the image brightness and color reproduction according to the ambient light to achieve the best effect. About LED Indicators: The red light turns on for the power-on state (indicating the webcam is connected to the computer); the green light turns on for the working state (indicating the webcam is outputting images normally). �. Software Settings This product is driver-free. Use the system's built-in camera or third-party software for photo taking, audio recording, or video recording. Insert the USB interface, open the software to be used, find the device named "USB cam", and the image will appear directly for use. If no image or sound is available, please check the relevant settings or try reinserting the USB into another interface. Note that some computers may have insufficient power supply for the front USB ports—this issue can be resolved by plugging the USB into the rear USB port of the computer. �. Third-Party Platform Settings (Taking Common Platforms as Examples) It supports plug-and-play. For some systems, you need to authorize webcam permissions in [System Preferences → Security & Privacy], or disable other webcam devices in Device Manager. The image in the window of third-party video software platforms depends on the default resolution of the third-party software. Troubleshooting for Common Issues Issue �: Webcam Not Recognized Scenario �: The computer has a built-in webcam and microphone Solution: The built-in webcam and microphone need to be disabled; otherwise, hardware conflicts will occur,preventing the external webcam from working. Go to "My Computer" → find "Device Manager" → locate the corresponding microphone device under "Sound, video and game controllers" and the webcam device under "Imaging Devices" respectively → right-click and select "Disable". Scenario �: The computer has no built-in webcam or microphone Solution: If the red light of the webcam is on, it means the webcam is connected and in standby mode. At this time, you need to open a video chat software(such as Facebook, Zoom, or other software) and start a video chat to activate the webcam. Scenario �: After connecting the webcam, the computer pops up a window saying "This USB device cannot be used" or similar Solution: This issue is caused by poor contact or damage to the computer's USB port. It is recommended to try another USB port or restart the computer. Scenario �: When the USB webcam is inserted for the first time, the driver fails to install and the webcam cannot be used Solution: Reinsert the USB interface or restart the computer. This USB webcam is driver-free—no manual driver installation is required. Simply insert the USB interface into the computer, and the driver will be installed automatically. Then open the video chat software to use the webcam. Scenario �: Using the webcam on a desktop computer Solution: It is recommended to use the USB port on the back of the computer host, as the back ports are directly connected to the motherboard, providing better recognition rate and stability than the front USB ports of the host. Issue �: Video Works, but Microphone Is Unusable / No Sound / Weak Sound Scenario �: The computer has a built-in microphone Solution: The built-in microphone will cause hardware conflicts, making the external microphone unusable. Therefore, the built-in microphone of the computer needs to be disabled (for details, refer to Scenario � of Issue �). Scenario �: The user mistakenly thinks the microphone has speaker function Solution: The webcam's microphone has sound pickup function but does not have speaker function and is not a speaker. Scenario �: Weak microphone sound Solution: The volume may not be turned up. The user can adjust the microphone playback volume for a better experience.Each software has a microphone setting—find the corresponding microphone setting to adjust the volume. Scenario �: Microphone still has no sound after trying the above methods Solution: The user can try restarting the computer after inserting the webcam to see if the problem is resolved.If the problem persists, the microphone may be damaged. If the damage is not caused by human factors, please send it back to the original factory for repair. If the power supply device is normal, check whether the webcam's USB interface is damaged. If it is damaged and not caused by human factors, contact the manufacturer for repair. Issue �: After Connecting to the Computer and Displaying Images, There Are Interfering Horizontal or Vertical Bars in the Picture Scenario �: Poor USB interface contact Solution: This situation is usually caused by loose USB ports due to frequent plugging and unplugging.Replace the USB port and reinsert the webcam to solve the problem.
