Starting a Room (pt. 1) Before hosting a revojam party, a user must register for an account and log in. revojam.com/register/ revojam.com/login/ Starting a Room (pt. 2) Once logged in, select “Start Party” from the homepage, or navigate to www.revojam.com/createRoom/ If a user has not yet connected their Spotify account, they will be prompted to do so beforehand, so that they can choose one of their playlists to start a room with. Select “create room” to create the room. Additional features (functional, but will be released after approval in a later version): - Song suggestion cooldown - Restricting guests from liking/suggesting songs - Allowing guests to veto the current song - Sorting the queue according to a host’s preferred genres Host View Accessible at revojam.com/host/[your_room_code] The host retains full control over what music is played in a room. They can suggest songs, delete songs, play songs, or boost songs in the queue. Additionally, only the host can control whether the music is playing or pausing. When a guest user joins the room it will jump to the host’s position in the current song and pause/play. Joining a Room Go to www.revojam.com/listen/[your_room_code] Simply click “Connect Spotify”, follow the authorization steps, then click “Join Room” to start listening along. Guest View Once connected, a guest immediately starts listening with the host of the room. Additionally, they can suggest songs and boost songs in the queue.
