To do this, our team has outlined a proposal set of deliverables and estimated completion cost to ensure the partnership between Group 4 a nd WFG is successful. We recommend installing a 48 - port Cisco Core Switch. This would support all the edge switches, servers, and wireless AP on a secure and stable network. This switch can support non - powered devices as it is configured for standard co mplaints 802.3af (i.e., not “passive” PoE) and prevent damaging other non - PoE devices. We accounted for extra ports to be available for any future expansion with the company’s network. The estimated cost would be $4,291 for installing Core Switch and $28,5 60 for eight edge switches. The Access Points will support up to 40 - 50 clients with good stable bandwidth. Our team estimated that we would require 11 AP on each floor to provide high - speed and reliable WIFI - 5 services to employees and guests on a 2.4GH z/5GHz frequency band. The APs will span across the 20,000 sq. ft office space via a 10G RJ - 45 cable . The estimated cost for 22 AP will be $17,072 We understand WFG requires quality - built servers for its AD and NAS services. We propose the Dell Powe r Edge R450 as it is the best value for companies seeking updated processing, and storage capabilities in a dense form factor. The AD server will support all active directories and DNS/DHCP services. The NAS server will provide approx. 8TB of usable sto rag e (12TB i f RAID - 5 driv e included) . Both servers will be configured for fault tolerance and will include RAID 1 (AD Server) and RAID 5 (File Sharing), respectively. The estimated cost will be $5,572 (Storage) and $6,377 (AD) This includes $6,400 worth of Window Server 2019 and User CALS. To enhance security a nd fault tolerance, we propose configuring an off - site copy of the Active Directory in MS Azure. With MS Azure we can implement robust secu rity measures to protect data and meet compliance requirement MS Azure offers a Premium P1 SAAS platform which will provide enterprise - le vel AD service, self - service identity and access management (IAM), and security in the clo ud. The estimated ongoing cost will be $1200 / M onth We understand that for WFG network infrastructure, it's paramount to have a secure and scalable solution while keeping capital expenditure to a reasonable threshold. We estimated the total cost for this pro ject would be $68,270 . This breakdown does not include maintenance, installation, A D cloud subscription or labor expense, required for designing this project.
