Should we lean islam from everyone? We have a very common belief/view these days, with following terms, that we can learn islam from everywhere and its infact a very good thing. Those who follow this belief they claim we should take good from everyone as it will help us grow , learn more, he re are most of their arguments: • nobody is perfect • Take good leave bad (Acha sab say lo aur ghalat ko chor do) • Even iblees told us about ayat ul kursi, so he spoke truth • Islam is not bound to only scholars • nobody knows who is scholar, almost everyone is scholar hence learning from everyone is good • We cannot decide who is wrong or gumrah These arguments look so pret ty and amazing , also Logically very inspiring that we are "Neutral", we listen to everyone, we are open minded. but this is not true (as per islam and many logical basis) Islamic evidence Quran • Allah says in Quran " " It means if you do not know then ask those who know. if knowldge was to be taken from everyone, Allah would have clearly says learn from everyone everything Hadith • Hadith says dont take ilm from those who are not ahle ilm o • Hadith says dont take ilm from those who lie on prophe t Muhammad o • DIRECT hadith says we MUST be very cautious of from whom we take knowledge from, which proves its obvious we cannot take it from every random person or everyone (ahle ilm or not) • o Ibn Sirin said, “This knowledge is a religion, so consider from whom you receive your religion.” Muslim transmitted it. رَ وَ اه ُ مُسْلِم صَحِ يح (الألبان ي) Reference : Mishkat al - Masabih 273 In - book reference : Book 2, Hadith 69 Source: https://sunnah.com/mishkat:273 • Sirf Ulama aur qualified logo say deeni ilm lena jaiz hai source: https://sunnah.com/bukhari:7307 • Islamic Quesitons, fatwas, rulings, views, islamic philosphy, it should ONLY be learned from Scholars(Ahle ilm). source: https://sunnah.com/bukhari:109 Logical Arguments • Why would anyone intentionally go to a liar? or deviant or evil person to learn Islam from? it makes no lo gical sense. When we already have Highly qualified , experts of islam, who are not evil, who are not spreading fitna, who follow islam, then why would anyone want to learn islam from all and every teacher in world? or everyone? it makes no sense. For examp le, its like kay ap kay pas dunia kay top Best doctors hon, jin say ap medical seekh saktay hain, lekin ap un say bhi seekhein • what will be outcome of MIXTURE of knowledge from evil and good people? it will be a mess. deviant scholars liars evil people wil l give opinions which will confuse us more and more and when we have more confusions, we easily get misguided, we have to study more, we have to research more. • Logically, as per our current time, we MUST adopt a strategy that "Leave everyone, learn ONLY f rom those who are proved to be highly qualified, not liars, not evil, have least lest mistake or weaknesses". As when we say learn from everyone? it opens up door of extreme misguidance, because 1000 people, 1000 opinions (and Allah says in Quran majority are misguided). For example, if someone is highly doubtful that so many doctors are dangerous, then obviously he will first "Cross verify with lot lot of analysis details and research that which doctor is trustable".. When he knows that out of million doct ors, then 10 are trustable, qualified, only then they will goto them. why we cannot do it in case of islam? • IF some people say we do not know where is haq? or haq does not exist? thats why learn from everyone? then they are liars. as prophet Muhammad alre ady gave us criteria of who are people on haq. • We cannot verify everything we hear, as we dont have knowledge like scholars. We ourselves are not knowledgeable thats why we goto someone to learn from them. now if we already know that what they will tell u s, (claiming we know what is right and wrong), then why would we even goto them to ask about knowledge? (when we are already know everything that he knows that we can know its true or false)? • Psychologically, we absorb everything what we hear, we Assume i f our heart consider it right? and we already know this is age of extreme deception. now if someone liar, an evil person a deviant scholar, who Twists , manipulates , cherry pick certai verses and hadith to give wrong ruling? then obviously we will easily consider it true as we will assume he is giving amazing evidence (Just because he gave evidence from Quran, so his view is right ? no, this is not right) • Sometimes due to favorism, we get blinded and consider everything true from a certain scholar/speaker/ daee. so in this case confirmation bias can easily make us think positive of everything that person says (Even if he is deivant or evil) • As we do not have proper knowledge of islam, and we cannot know what is right from wrong (in all cases being alim) then anyone can teach us something and we can be misguided easily (As our knowldge is not complete). • First come First served or whoever teach us Basics, that becomes standard. When we come to islam newly, or from revert, the first impression of first person who teaches us islam, that knowldge becomes "Truth" or True islam for us. now if someone become mus lim by becing inspired by a devilish scholar who claims lgbt is true, then the student will also consider it true. • This act is not proven from Quran, neither from Hadith, neither from Salaf, neither from any ijma or any scholar's fatwa. this view is devia nt view created by ppl of opinions only Refutation of Hadith of Satan told truth hence learn from everyone Here is complete hadith of satan • This hadith has no Direct Clear ruling in it that from whom to take knowledge from, or ilm of deen. as the issue is , from whom to take or learn islam from. Who should we learn islam from as a teacher. • only Scholars can do qiyas on ha dith and give rulings, whose rulings are not entirely clear (like wine is haram). so normal people cannot do qiyas and give this ruling that this hadith is evidence of taking knowledge of islam from everyone. • Exception ko generalize nahi nahi ia ja sakta. this hadith is Specifically about a very specific Single point "single act of truth", so if someone's right or good act reaches you? or you get truth from someone? then you can take it (only one act), Generalizing one thing to apply it to whole is not logi cal • None of scholar ever gave fatwa like this on this hadith. so if anyone claims it means we can take any deen, islam or any special experise from everyone ? then they need to bring evidence of it from Scholars, which does not exist • Satan sahabai kay pass at khud aya, wo chal ker ilm lenay us kay pas naih gaye, to ye kehna kay sab say ja ker khud ilm lo? ye is bat ki daleel nahi bun sakti. ap tak koi 1 sahi bat pohonch jai? aur wo theek ho? to wo beshak le lein.
