3 in Secrets LOSING 5 lbs to 3 weeks My weakness had always been "Pasta" and "Sweets" ...I have discovered throughout my own fitness journey 3 secrets which helped me ditch the pasta and sweets and kept me on track for over 15 years. 1. Cut the carbs at dinner..... Eat Zoodles instead of noodles.... the best investment I made was a Vasta maker. https://www.getvasta.com/ (19.95) You can make fettuccini, lasagna noodles, and more. For a light sauce simply add 1/4 cup of low sodium chicken broth to the raw zucchini fettuccini and microwave. Timing will depend on amount of zoodles and how soft you want them. Then a little parmesan or Asiago cheese. Top with 4 oz of grilled chicken, Shrimp, Salmon or Tofu. 3. If sweets are your downfall - take plain 0 percent fat Greek Yogurt. Add vanilla whey protein powder, and lime juice. Chill in the fridge for 60 minutes and Boom you have Key Lime pie pudding. If you don't like lime add coconut extract. And make Pina Colada Pudding! If you are a chocolate lover add chocolate flavored protein powder with the Almond and coconut extract and make Almond Joy Pudding! Drink half your weight in water. Drinking water will boost your metabolism. If the human body consumes 16 ounces of water in a given hour, the metabolic rate will spike by as much as 30 percent for the next 30 to 40 minutes. Plus, here is a single enzyme called “lipase” that must be activated in your body in order to mobilize fat (i.e. get rid of it). Water is one of the many necessary components in the activation of lipase. 2.
