Drafting Committee

On 15th of February, Adivasi/Tribal student community of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai took a decision to restructure their student body and come up with its constitution. For 4 months, the committee brainstormed on the idea of it, and after numerous meetings, discussions, and benchmarking various student led organizations, we created a first draft of our proposed constitution and presented it to the General Body of our existing student organisation on 9th June, which happens to be death anniversary of Birsa Munda. The First Draft has received a very warm acceptance and there are series of discussions being planned to make it more robust and carry it forward. Please find attached a copy of it along with this mail. We want to take this opportunity to forward you the copy of the first draft and look forward to your valuable feedback which would help us in coming up with a constitution which would not only stand the test of time, but also carry forward the Adivasi/Tribal legacy.
