Legal Grounds for Complaint (1) International Protection – Berne Convention China, the United States, and the United Kingdom are all contracting parties to the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works. Under Article 5(1) and 5(2) of the Berne Convention: Works originating in one member country shall receive the same protection in other member countries.
