Upon reception of many requests from students and their parents who are studying at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. 2. The competent authority has decided to open the institute in Phases. In First Ph ase for B.Tech(Second Year - 2020 admitted), M.Tech and PhD Students from 20 September 2021 and in Second Phase B.Tech(Final Year - 2018 admitted) students from 01 October 2021 upon submission of consent letter from their parents. Format is attached. 3. The institute is open to all students who have administered at least FIRST dose of COVID Vaccine along with parent and student consent for SECOND dose of vaccine as per government norms. If any student has not taken COVID - 19 Vaccines are not perm itted to enter the Institute. If any student who has not taken a vaccine due to age less than 18, has to obtain undertaking from their parents. 4. All students who are arriving at IIITDM Kurnool should get COVID - 19 (RT - PCR) negative certificate as per ICMR which should not be more than 3 days/72 hours old. Without this entry, stay at a hostel/campus is not permitted. 5. For any circumstance that occurs due to the current pandemic, students will be isolated and the same will be reported to their parents immediat ely to take care of the student and take back the student to their home. 6. All the students have to follow the COVID - 19 guidelines as per Central and State Government norms. 7. All students should wear a face mask within the Institute, Class room(s), Laboratori es, Library and Hostel premises. Violators of COVID - 19 guidelines will be sent out of the hostel and not permitted to attend the classes. 8. No student will be permitted to leave the hostel/campus till the institute declares vacation as per the academic calen dar. 9. All the students are instructed to make their own arrangements for their day - to - day consumables for comfortable stay at the hostel as per their needs and requirements. 10. No outside food and vendors are permitted inside the campus. Students are strictly instructed not to order any food using online food delivery platforms during this pandemic. 11. All students are advised to follow the Social distancing norms, No spitting, No gathering in the campus including hostel premises, No parties like birthday etc. an d to follow all the guidelines issued by Government/ Institute from time to time. Hostel accommodation cannot be provided for any Guests/Guardian/Parents during their stay on the campus. 12. All the students have to pay their hostel fees (Accommodation and M ess) as per the norms and circular issued by the Academic section 13. Hostel room allotment has been made to each and every student as per institute norms. Currently the Institute is being opened in a phased manner to control the spread of COVID - 19, as of now Two students in a Triple occupancy, One Student in double occupancy. Later Triple occupancy will be filled with three students and double occupancy will be filled with two students. All the arrangements are made in this regard. P.T.O Page 2 of 2 14. All students (B.Tech(Second Year - 2020 admitted), M.Tech and PhD Students) are advised to reach the campus by 20 September 2021 only and B.Tech(Final Year - 2018 admitted) students by 0 1 October 2021 only to have the medical tests at the campus medical fac ility on 20 September 2021 and 0 1 October 2021 respectively. 15. Second Year B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD Students should bring their own bedding and wash room requirements as the institute will provide a Cot, Table and Chair no other facility will be provided. Ther e are no shops in the campus for any day - to - day consumables and students are not permitted to leave the campus for any reason, students have to bring necessary consumable sufficient to at least for 3 Months. 16. Students have to bring the following documents without fail (Any student fails to submit these documents are not permitted into the campus and will be sent back): • Parent consent form • R T /PCR Test report with COVID negative taken not more than 3days/72 hours old • First (Secon d) dose Vaccination taken certificate • Parent undertaking for second dose Vaccination • Hostel declaration form for Student and Parents 17. Hostel rules and regulations are attached herewith for your (Students and Parents) reference for strict adherence. 18.
