Adding a New Asset to the Map • Select the Edit tool in the top left toolbar • Click the desired asset as shown below • For example, to add a Sanitary Manhole, click the ‘ Sanitary Manhole ’ feature from the list above, and navigate to where you would like to place it on the map. • After placing the point, an attribute window will appear to allow you to add/change the asset information as shown below. Page 2 • After the desired attributes are updated, select the ‘Create’ button on the bottom. Editing Attributes of an Existing Asset • To edit an existing asset, start with the ‘Edit’ tool. • Then to select an asset, make sure the ‘Select’ button is activated. • A pop up will appear. After editing attributes, save the changes but choosing the ‘Update’ button at the bottom as shown below. Page 3 Moving the Location of an Existing Asset • To move an existing asset, start with the ‘Edit’ tool. • Then to select an asset, make sure the ‘Select’ button is activated. • You will then be able to select and drag any point or reshape any line that is currently visible on the map. Deleting an Asset • To delete an asset, start with the ‘Edit’ tool. • Then to select an asset, make sure the ‘Select’ button is activated. Page 4 • O nce the selected asset’s pop up is shown, you will see a delete button on the bottom as shown below. Selecting more than one Feature • To select more than one feature at once, you can use the select tool with this button selected. Page 5 • Then you can draw a rectangle around all the features you would like to select.
