Inside you will find the exam fact sheet, the Platform Administrator prerequisite that gates registration, a dated timeline of a product that has been generally available for less than a year, all four sections with their published weightings and every one of the twenty-one objectives, what consulting skills pay, a five-step route from Admin credential to booked seat, and ten sample questions with a full answer key. 65 Questions 105 Minutes 62% To pass $200 Fee Salesforce Als-Con-201 Certification Guide Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant www.vmexam.com 2 Exam Overview Exam code Als-Con-201 Exam name Salesforce Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant Credential earned Salesforce Certified Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant Prerequisite Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator - mandatory Questions 60 multiple-choice (65 items including unscored questions) Duration 105 minutes Passing score 62% Registration fee USD 200 (JPY 30,000), plus applicable taxes Retake fee USD 100 (JPY 30,000), plus applicable taxes Scheduling Kryterion Webassessor or Pearson VUE Recommended experience One year or more in Pharma, Biotech or MedTech, plus six months or more configuring Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement and Data 360 Release alignment Spring ’26 Unusually for a new exam, the official detail is published in plain view. The format, fees, prerequisite, recommended experience and all four section weightings come from Salesforce’s own announcement of this certification, dated 23 April 2026. The objectives beneath each section come from VMExam's Als-Con-201 syllabus page, whose weightings match Salesforce’s exactly. Two rows matter more than the rest. The prerequisite is mandatory. You must already hold Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator, and without it you cannot register. And the question count is quoted two ways : Salesforce says sixty multiple-choice questions, VMExam and the exam listings say sixty-five. The difference is Salesforce’s usual handful of unscored trial questions, which you cannot tell apart from the real ones - so answer all sixty-five, but do the pass-mark arithmetic on sixty. Salesforce Als-Con-201 Certification Guide Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant www.vmexam.com 3 A Product Younger Than Its Study Material This exam tests a product that has existed, as a generally available release, for less than a year. Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement became generally available on 11 October 2025, and the name has not settled since: Salesforce’s own certification post is titled "The Life Sciences Cloud Consultant Certification" and points to a "Life Sciences Cloud Consultant" trailmix, while the credential itself is the Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant. They are the same thing. If you search for either name you are in the right place. When What happened 25 Sep 2025 Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement announced, with Pfizer and Fidia named as early adopters. 11 Oct 2025 Generally available through Salesforce and the Apple App Store. Launch features included Smart Summaries, Key Account Management and Intelligent Content. Dec 2025 AstraZeneca and then Novartis announce they have selected Agentforce Life Sciences for Customer Engagement globally. Feb 2026 Podcast Stories, Agentforce Voice and AI-enabled compliance scheduled to become available. 23 Apr 2026 Salesforce announces this certification, aligned to the Spring ’26 release. Late 2026 Regulated Content Management and Marketing Cloud Next integration expected. Read the recommended experience against that timeline and something stands out. Salesforce suggests six months of hands-on configuration of the product - and on the day the certification was announced, the product had been generally available for a little over six months. The candidate Salesforce describes barely existed yet outside early implementations. That has two consequences worth planning around: third-party study material is thin and quick to date, and the people who pass early will be scarce in a market where Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Novartis have all publicly committed to the platform. The Blueprint, Section by Section Foundations and admin 36% Engagement planning 21% Engagement execution 28% Sampling inventory 15% Bars are Salesforce’s own published weightings, not a proxy. Salesforce Als-Con-201 Certification Guide Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant www.vmexam.com 4 Four sections, 21 objectives. Foundations and Administration is 36% - more than a third of the paper and eight objectives wide. Engagement Execution is next at 28%, then Engagement Planning at 21% and Sampling Inventory Management at 15%. The more useful number is the weight per objective: Engagement Execution packs 28% into four objectives, about seven points each, while Foundations spreads its 36% across eight at four and a half each. By that measure the narrowest section is the most valuable one to know well. Foundations and Administration (36%, 8 objectives) • Configure and manage Account and Relationships master data per scenario requirements • Describe setup, configuration, and troubleshooting processes for the Agentforce Life Sciences mobile application • Apply security and system configuration fundamentals for Agentforce Life Sciences • Implement consent and subscription management aligned with data privacy compliance needs • Configure Territory Management and assignment rules for account and product alignment • Complete Agentforce Life Sciences configuration tasks • Establish Intelligent Content, Presentations, and Field Email templates • Create standard reports, dashboards, and TabNext industry metrics Engagement Planning (21%, 4 objectives) • Configure Activity Plans for specific territories; establish review processes and progress tracking • Set up calendars for Healthcare Professional (HCP) and Healthcare Organization (HCO) visit planning with Time Off Territory conflict rules • Configure and track Key Account Management (KAM) Plans per scenario • Describe setup of out-of-the-box Agentforce features and Next Best options Engagement Execution (28%, 4 objectives) • Configure remote management capabilities in scenario-based situations • Manage complete visit lifecycle workflows • Use medical insights to capture and share engagement findings with HCPs and HCOs • Create and manage formal Medical Inquiries per requirements Sampling Inventory Management (15%, 5 objectives) • Configure Sample Limits and Allocations to ensure compliance with defined quantities • Apply GxP standards to sampling workflows, ensuring all distribution aligns with regional regulatory requirements • Manage end-to-end Sample Disbursement processes • Configure Inventory Counting, Adjustment, and Audits functions • Configure Sample Reports and Dashboards monitoring full sample stock lifecycle The blueprint is written for a consultant, not an administrator. It assumes the platform basics you proved on the Admin exam and asks about the regulated parts of pharmaceutical field work instead - consent and subscription, sample limits and allocations, GxP, inventory audit, medical inquiries. The Salesforce Als-Con-201 Certification Guide Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant www.vmexam.com 5 sample questions below reflect that: most ask which design is right and why, not which button to press. What These Skills Are Worth There is no reliable salary data for a credential this new, so start from the role it certifies. PayScale puts the average base salary for a Salesforce consultant in the United States at $99,111, on 235 salary profiles last updated 25 May 2026, with the tenth to ninetieth percentile running from $74,000 to $137,000 and total pay up to about $141,000 once bonus and profit sharing are counted. What moves someone up that band is specialism, and this is about as specialised as Salesforce consulting gets. It combines the platform with the regulated commercial side of pharma - who may be contacted and how, what may be said, how every sample unit is accounted for - and it is attached to a product large pharmaceutical companies are actively moving onto. That combination of scarce supply and live implementation demand is usually where the upper end of a consulting band is found. The honest limit is that this is a single-product credential in a young product. It carries the most weight with partners and customers implementing Agentforce Life Sciences, and much less outside that ecosystem. Pair it with real life-sciences experience - which Salesforce recommends anyway - rather than treating it as a substitute for it. A Five-Step Route to the Seat Step 1 — Hold Platform Administrator before anything else This is a hard gate, not advice. Salesforce lists the Platform Administrator credential as the prerequisite, and you cannot register for Als-Con-201 without it. If you do not already hold it, that is a separate exam with its own preparation, and it belongs at the front of your plan. Step 2 — Get real hands on the product - it is younger than most study guides Salesforce recommends six months of hands-on configuration of Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement and Data 360. The product only became generally available in October 2025, so very few people outside early implementations have that yet. The official preparation trail, Prepare for Your Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant Certification, and a trial or partner org are the realistic substitute - and third-party material is thin, which makes the vendor trail more important than usual. Step 3 — Start with Foundations and Administration At 36% it is the largest section by a distance, and at eight objectives it is also the broadest: account and relationship master data, the mobile application, security, consent and subscription management, territory alignment, Intelligent Content and field email templates, and reporting. Consent is the one to take seriously - in a regulated industry, who may be contacted and how is a compliance question before it is a configuration one. Salesforce Als-Con-201 Certification Guide Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant www.vmexam.com 6 Step 4 — Weight your time per objective, not per section Engagement Execution is 28% of the paper spread across only four objectives - about seven points each, the most concentrated section on the blueprint. Remote engagement, the visit lifecycle, medical insights and medical inquiries each deserve more time than any single Foundations objective. Sampling is only 15%, but GxP and lot-level accountability are the kind of detail that is either known precisely or not at all. Step 5 — Book it, and do the arithmetic on sixty You have 105 minutes. Salesforce describes the exam as sixty multiple-choice questions, and VMExam counts sixty-five items, the difference being unscored trial questions you cannot identify - so answer everything, but plan on sixty. At 62% you need thirty-eight correct and can miss twenty-two. Registration is USD 200 and a retake USD 100. Sample Questions These ten come straight from the VMExam Als-Con-201 sample set, in a shuffled order. Two ask for two answers - the stems say "which two", and each offers five options rather than four, so read the whole list before choosing. Most of the set tests judgement rather than recall: how to cut an overcommitted plan, what a sample return must record, why hiding a field is not the same as securing it. The answer key follows. Q1. A representative needs to return damaged and expired sample stock out of their inventory. The organization must be able to account for every unit from receipt to disposal. What should the process capture? a) A destruction certificate from the representative confirming the stock was disposed of correctly. b) An adjustment removing the stock, with the reason recorded as damaged or expired as appropriate. c) The quantity and reason for the return, with the inventory reduced when the representative ships it. d) The quantity and lot returned, the reason, and confirmation of receipt at the destination. Q2. A field on the prescriber record holds information that must not be available to representatives under any circumstances. An administrator has removed the field from the representative page layout. Why is that not sufficient? a) A layout governs what appears on the record page, so the value remains reachable through reports, list views and exports. b) The field remains required by validation, so representatives are prompted to complete it even though it is not displayed. c) Representatives can personalize their own view and restore a removed field, so a central removal does not persist. d) Layout changes apply only to new records, so representatives still see the field on prescribers created earlier. Salesforce Als-Con-201 Certification Guide Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant www.vmexam.com 7 Q3. An organization is planning the first two cycles for a newly launched product alongside continuing plans for an established brand. The same field team carries both. How should the launch product’s plan differ? a) It should carry a higher planned frequency than the established brand, since a new product needs more reinforcement. b) It should target the prescribers who respond best to the established brand, and build on the existing relationship. c) It should be planned at the same frequency as the established brand, so the field team carries a consistent workload. d) It should weight reach across the target list ahead of repeat frequency with prescribers already engaged. Q4. A representative wants to send a prescriber an approved document by email immediately after a visit, using a template available in the solution. Which two conditions must the solution enforce before the message is sent? a) The document attached is a currently approved version rather than one that has been superseded. b) The message is recorded against the interaction so the engagement history stays complete. c) The representative’s manager has approved the message before it leaves the system. d) The prescriber was seen in person within the preceding period covered by the cycle plan. e) The prescriber’s current preference permits email contact from the organization. Q5. A manager reports that interactions recorded by three representatives are missing from territory reports. All three work primarily in hospitals, and all three use the mobile experience exclusively. What should the consultant investigate first? a) Whether the three representatives have been recording their interactions at all during the period in question. b) Whether records captured on those devices are completing synchronization, given the shared working environment. c) Whether the territory report’s filters exclude the interaction types those three representatives typically record. d) Whether the three representatives have the access needed to create interaction records against hospital accounts. Q6. A consultant is explaining the purpose of a cycle plan to a new brand manager. What does a cycle plan define? a) The sample quantities each representative is permitted to distribute during the period. b) The interactions intended with each targeted prescriber over a defined promotional period. c) The approved messages that may be delivered to each prescriber segment during the period. d) The sequence and timing in which a representative will visit prescribers each day. Salesforce Als-Con-201 Certification Guide Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant www.vmexam.com 8 Q7. Field teams in several markets record a visit outcome from a picklist. Two markets have asked for outcome values that only make sense locally, while leadership needs outcome reporting to roll up globally. Which two design decisions support both requirements? a) Allow each market to maintain its own outcome list independently, and reconcile the lists when leadership requests a report. b) Record the outcome as free text and derive reporting categories from the text after the fact. c) Let each market expose only the values it uses, with any local value mapped to a global one for reporting. d) Add every requested value to one shared list visible to all markets, so nothing is lost and reporting stays simple. e) Keep a governed global set of outcome values that every market reports on, and change it only through a defined review. Q8. A prescriber has three recorded practice locations. The organization ships product samples directly to prescribers, and a consultant is defining how the shipping destination is determined. What is the appropriate design? a) Ship to the location marked as the prescriber’s primary practice, and use it for correspondence as well. b) Ship to the location the representative selects at the time of each request, since they know the prescriber’s arrangements. c) Ship to the location where the prescriber was most recently seen, since that is where they were verifiably present. d) Ship to the location the prescriber has confirmed for deliveries, held explicitly rather than inferred from the visit history. Q9. A brand team has produced a plan whose total planned interactions exceed what the field organization can deliver by roughly a fifth. The team asks the consultant how the plan should be reduced. What basis should the reduction use? a) Ask the field organization to absorb the excess, since planned interactions represent the brand’s commercial requirement. b) Remove the lowest tier from the plan entirely, so the remaining tiers are delivered exactly as originally intended. c) Protect reach of the highest-potential segment first, and take the reduction from frequency on lower tiers. d) Reduce planned frequency and reach evenly across every tier, so no segment is disproportionately affected. Salesforce Als-Con-201 Certification Guide Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant www.vmexam.com 9 Q10. A representative asks for an interaction record to be deleted because they recorded it against the wrong prescriber and the mistake is embarrassing. What should the process provide? a) A correction that reassigns the interaction and preserves evidence of the change and its reason. b) Deactivation of the incorrect record so it no longer appears in reporting, with the correct one added alongside. c) A note on the record explaining the error, leaving the interaction attributed as originally recorded. d) Deletion of the record and then creation of a correct one against the intended prescriber.
