It is helpful to know where everyone is on any given project. Thank you for taking the time to talk to the Parks staffer. If they want to scan and send to me, that would be much appreciated or maybe I could borrow them, scan, and return. Whatever works best for him. Appreciate it! I will volunteer at Beaman tomorrow. I will circle back to you with details and some notion of availability. If he is not there tomorrow, I will see him the following week, or ... . Stay tuned. I hope you do not mind me ccing you on my email to Jeff last Friday. In my mind, exploring any option other than a NCZO is a non-starter, not a compromise. And the neighborhood’s vote was an informed vote. I will circle back as soon as I connect with the Park employee. THANKS for your efforts. I hope you don't mind that your email below was shared with me. Do you by any chance know the name of the Beaman Park employee you spoke to? I'd like to reach out to them to see if we can get digital copies of their photos. It would be great to include them in the design guidelines. Thank you! Exercise caution when opening attachments or clicking links, especially from unknown senders. Jeff: The leadership of Ellen and Tom are evident in the emails below. Know that they speak for the vast majority of neighbors in the historic Green Hills neighborhood. 3 I was talking with a Metro Parks employee yesterday at Beaman Park (where I volunteer). The employee’s father has pictures of the neighborhood, pictures that pre-date World War II. He was eager to learn more, not knowing that the original Green Hills is a small part of what folks today generally understand to be Green Hills. History almost lost. Resurrected by the current initiative. I am eager to “pass the hat” to install an Historic Marker(s), educating Nashvillians on our neighborhood’s contribution to Nashville history. And perhaps new street signs designating the historic nature of the neighborhood. I trust you are eager to help us reach the point where we can “pass the hat.” Thanks.
