Born in Malaysia, raised in Singapore, and Australian by nationality, she began her artistic journey in Italy with a lead role in a cult TV series by the Manetti Bros. and went on to collaborate on major international productions, including Amazon’s Jack Ryan and Kanye West’s Grammy- winning album The College Dropout. Jacelyn is the founder of Culture del Mondo, a Rome-based cultural association dedicated to promoting intercultural dialogue, peace, and creative exchange. Through Culture del Mondo, she has organized high- impact events in collaboration with institutions such as UNESCO, the Comune di Roma, the Malaysian Embassy, and the Bhakti Center in New York. A fluent speaker of several languages and a passionate advocate for the arts as a tool for diplomacy, Jacelyn’s work bridges performance, music, and cultural strategy. As a musician and composer, she performs internationally with a focus on soundtrack journeys through ambient soundscapes and traditional instruments, particularly the Sape, a lute of the indigenous peoples of Borneo. She regularly curates and leads international festivals, artistic residencies, and conferences that bring together diverse voices for shared understanding and innovation.
