1952 Forest Green Dr Atlanta 30329 * 404 - 372 - 8632 chris@2020atl.com Memo 10 / 3 /22 To: Interested Parties From : Chris Huttman , 20 - 20 Insight Incumbent Unknown, Miller In Striking Distance in State Attorney Race A new 20 - 20 Insight, LLC poll of Florida Judicial District 6 likely voters finds close statewide races. In the Senate race, Marco Rubio leads Val Demings by 2 %, a statistical tie within the margin of error of this poll (4 9 % - 47%). In the race for Governor, Ron DeSantis has a small lead over Charlie Crist (50% - 46%). In both races, the Democratic candidates lead in Pinellas County while Republicans lead in Pasco County. In the race for State Attorney , the candidates are separated by the margin of error – a statistical tie. 4 2 % of likely voters support or lean to Dem ocrat Allison Miller and 4 6 % support or lean to Republican incumbent Bruce Bartlett After hearing positive and negative messages about both candidates, Miller leads by 1% (36% - 35%) among those certain to support a candidate and trails by just 1% when lean ers are included (44% - 45%). Why? Here are a few key reasons: • Bruce Bartlett is unknown – 69% of voters have not heard of him, an additional 12% have no opinion • 63% of voters have serious or very serious doubts about Bartlett’s refusal to embrace DNA testi ng or conviction integrity units that would help solve the current violen t crime surge. • 56% of voters have serious or very serious doubts about Bartlett’s lack of transparency in how he runs the office • 57% of voters find it very or somewhat convincing that Miller has been recognized as an expert in criminal trial law • 56% of voters find it very or somewhat convincing that Miller will get justice for victims of violent crime while also embracing reforms that can put first - time offenders on the right path. Miller’s targets generally conform to the expected electorate – they are slightly less white, a little older than average and more female. And obviously turning out younger Democratic leaning voters will help turn a tie into a victory. If Miller has the resources to communicate these messages, she can win this closely contested judicial district. Poll conducted Sep 23 - 25 594 LV respondents, +/ - 4 0 % margin of error.
