worldly strength is OK a while on earth, How ever if you are dead it is of no worth, So if you like the wordly types that's OK but build up your spiritual kind too so you're protected both ways, [2] LAST CHANCE Lots of us that chances go by, Always thinking we have to tomorrow to try, So we put it off till the next day, Then the chance seems to slip away, Chances are things we should take, Hesitating sometimes can be a mistake, As we make our way through life, Now and then we will encounter strife, Caution only takes the fun out of living, Embracing the unknown is not only beneficial but can be exciting, [3] THE ONE There is only one, He is not anyone's son, Everything comes from this one, One earth he did have a son, Now he is with the one, Everyone's salvation comes from the one through his son, [4] THERE IS A God There is a god in heaven, He did send his son to die for our sins, Everyone that recognizes this, Realize is entitled to heavenly bliss, Even if they committed sins twist and turn and are sometimes hard to unravel, A lot of times we find ourselves in the wrong exit lane, Filling our life with unnecessary strain, For we find getting back in traffic can be a real struggle, It is then we should consult a guide to life roads that is reliable, Cover to cover there is really only one and it is bible, Unlike any other book you need to pick it up and keep it close before you precede, Putting it to use will help you in life to succeed, Don't make the mistake of leaving it at home, And find yourself in traffic alone, Take it with you wherever you go, Everyone who does will be able to avoid all traffic problems because it will keep them always in the know, [13] ENDURE Even when life seems more then you can endure, Nobody should give up for there is cure, he's playing it with the angels in god's heavenly realm, [18] I AM I am now a child of the heavenly father, I no longer claim the other, It is not that I don't love him, Is because he is a part of this earthly realm, In which I no longer claim, In reality the world's condition is partly my blame, So many times I could have used my life to do god's will, So that those I know would not have gone to evil, Instead I thought more of doing for myself, Instead of spending time improving me and my friend's spiritual health, I had the chance and I let it go, I now hold myself to blame for I am the cause of their eternal woe, [19] TEARS There is just something about the aborting of an innocent child, Even now it gets me riled, And I can't help but to cry, Realizing that I too could of died, Simply because my mother did not want a child, [20] SORRY So sick you used to think, Often induced to vomit every time you had to change a dirty diaper that stink, Remembering all those times you would wish he would go away, Realizing now that god was listing to you all those days, You now know just how sorry you were to wish him away now that he is in heaven to stay, [21] THE CURSE OF BABEL A long time ago there was a great city, That lived only by god's mercy, It was filled by the people that had survived, The flood caused by tears god cried, After he saw his children, Commit very grievious sins, This city of Nimrod had great power, And was located on the plains of Shinar, They were all of one voice, When they made the wrong choice, To build a tower to heaven, Only to glorify man, They thought if they did they would be god's too, Of course that was the wrong thing to do, For there was no place in heaven, For mortal man, Only their spirit, Could enter into it, Besides there is only one god and heavenly father, And there will be no other, In the way god who is all seeing, Saw what they were doing, He was amazed they were working together, Instead of fighting each other, But he knew the reason why they were, It is because they had the same father, They were all Noah's children, And had lived in the city from way back when, They came out of the ark and thrived in this new land, God decide something had to be done because they were getting out of hand, So he decided to scramble their language, So in a conversation they could no longer engage, What this was accomplished, The population from the city now called babble vanished, They went to faraway lands And became different forms of man, All was then in turmoil on this planet called earth, Until a great nation came forth, Then from all the lands, Came the different types of man, At first they stuck to their own races, And preserved their special features and faces, Then as one voice began to be spoken, They started to mix and have children, As of now this type of mankind is a minority, But not too far in the future they will become the majority, As the curse of Babel, Has now been unraveled, What about this race of men, Will they become god's children, The time will come for all the people to make another choice, I only hope like back then they will be of one voice, Like those of the city of Nimrod, And choose god, [22] MIRACLE Maybe you might not think so, It is my opinion though, Regardless of what we both think, Admirable is the fact he is able to even think, Considering what he went through, Leon not only survived a stroke but he had two, Enduring this is considered by many as impossible and only god could of brought about this miracle, [23] FORSAKEN From time to time I feel can't buy their way into the promised land with it, [27] MERCY On a well worn path, A merchant fell victim to robbers wrath, He was on his way from Jerusalem, When they stopped him in stolen from him, They could of left him dead, But because of mercy he was alive instead, The mercy came from one man, That was known throughout the land, As the man that was quick with a knife, With no sympathy when it came to taking a human life, Why he allowed the merchant to live that day, I could not really say, Maybe he was tired of taking innocent blood, Or maybe it was just because he could, Regardless the reason the merchant was left alive, When the priest arrived, He did not hesitate, To continue on so for the afternoon services he would not be late, And then came the levite, He did hesitate at the sight, But did nothing and he left the man lying, Because he thought surely this man was dieing, And there was no help he could give, that would keep him alive, Then came the man from Samaria Who was quite familiar with the area, He rode on a donkey so he could get away in a hurry, And avoid any potential robbery, He knew of robbers could be anywhere, Yet he stopped to see to the man's care, When he did all he could on his donkey, And headed back to Jerusalem, He brought him to a inn, And treated him like he would a friend, He had to leave the next day, But before he went away, He gave money to the inn keeper, To take care of him till he was better, And any extra expense, He would pay when he returned hence, Will the story does not in at this point of time, So I will continue with this rhyme, Two of the thieves were caught in the act, The other one was caught after the fact, All three of them were tried, And sentence to be crucified, But the one that showed mercy, Was set free, For to make themselves look bold, All the while it is their peers, Really makes them to fear, So they beat up on the old and meek so in the eyes of their peers they don't look weak, [29] I SEE YOU It was a silly game he loved to play, Something he would do every time you came his way, Each time though you would ignore him, Even so he would giggle and raise himself above and lower himself below the cribs rim, Yearning for you to play with him but you would not take the hint, Only time you did knows him was when he didn't, Unfortunately for you he has found someone to play with them in god's if I include in the bill the price of his son, [31] WITH MY LIFE With all I am, I praise the great I am, Then I feel all my praise is still not worthy, He has done so much for me, Making sure I am taken care of day after day, Yearning in return only my love and a few minutes of devotion when of pray, Little is my cost for all he lost, In payment for his son that died for me on the cross, From now till the end of my story, Everything I do with my life will be for his Glory, [32] VETERANS DAY Veterans are not just the ones who suffered through mankind's wars, Even preachers and teachers can show you scars, They all have them from giving their lives for their country, Even though they may not have fought on foreign soils to keep us free, Realize evil can be found everywhere, And our god given rights from our life they want to tear, Now these preachers and teachers fight the battle in our churches and schools, Stopping evil where ever they can from destroying the golden rules, Doing it with a low gratitude and even less pay, All of us should also remember them on veterans day, You would be doing the right thing if when you cheer on the veterans also remember those who fight the battle behind the lecterns, [33] DREAM MAKER Don't give up all what you want to do, Reach out and take god's hand, Everything is up obtainable if you let him help you, All you have to do is submit to caused by stress, Unable to sleep or get any rest, Running constantLy around trying to make ends meet, Don't even know from day to day if you're going to eat, Everybody in this life has things we must go through, Not always the same as if they were made specifically for me and you, So god can test our faith and belief although we must attempt them if it seems to be too much in gods are as we can find relief , [35] TESTIFY Tell everybody who it is you love, Endorse the one and only god in heaven above, Sow a seed in someone's heart, Those who do are considered by god smart, It is because they are building a mansion in heaven, For every seed sown a room is added within, Your mansion will be ready for you as soon as your journey here on earth is through, [36] CLOUD MAKER Can you make a cloud and place it in the sky, Loaded with rain to wet where it is dry, Overcast the sky with it so on the earth the sun will not shine, Use them to make snow so fine, Draw beautiful color pictures with them in the morning and evening sky, Make them cover the ground so you can't see two feet with your eyes, Arrange them so they look like animals and things on parade, Kept in perfect dimension as if they were precision made, Even if you could would you, Realize to god this is a simple task just think what he could do for you if you would only ask, [37] STORM Strong were the winds that buffeted up as if by a whim, And fly around at first as if in confusion, Then they come together in Unison, And began to dance for only one reason, To tell celebrate the changing of the season, All their lives they are bound to the tree, And with the fall season they are finally set free, Do you sometimes feel like leaves in a tree, Wishing that from your wordly life you could be set free, Well you don't have to wait for the fall, Just answer the masters call, He is that little voice, Asking you to make a choice, Just choose him, And you too will have a reason to celebrate when you join him in his
