Mixing/Mastering ($175) : I will mix and master a song for you. Keep in mind that to do this properly, I will need each individual track from your song as an audio file (preferably .wav, but 320kbps mp3 files will work as well). Vocals ($175) : I will process and/or tune your vocals for an already existing instrumental. Communication This section is meant for people who reached out through the form in my website. If you reached out through other means, feel free to skip this part. For the sake of proper and efficient communication, I will only accept 2 platforms, E- mail and Discord. There are options in my website for you to send me one or the other, or even both, though please keep in mind that if you send me both, I will prefer Discord over E-mail. References In order to facilitate my job, I WILL NOT ACCEPT A COMMISSION WITHOUT RECEIVING REFERENCES References can be another song, a picture, an idea or a style/genre/vibe you’d like to go for. If you’re reaching out through my website, only link references in the “Put your references here” text box. Process In this section I will talk about the process of each commission I offer, what I will do, how long it will take, and some additional details. Upon reviewing your request, I will reach out to you in the platform you indicated (see ‘Communications’ section) to confirm your request, as well as send a PayPal link for the 50% non-refundable deposit (see ‘Payment’ section). Full song This is the process that I will follow for a “Full song” commission. If you didn’t request this commission, feel free to skip this part. After discussing your ideas, I will work on a bare-bones draft of the song. This means it won’t be mixed nor polished, and the structure might be incomplete. This is just to get a general feel for the idea, and see whether or not it will work. Once I’m done with this “sketch”, I will send a mp3 file for review, which you should expect to receive in no more than 5 days, unless I specifically mention that I’ll need more time. If you’re not happy with the idea and would like me to redo the concept, I’ll do it for up to 2 more times for a total of 3 reviews. If you require more than 3 redos, it will come at an extra price (see ‘Fees’ section). If you are happy with the idea and would like me to continue with it, I will send updates every 3 to 5 days. Once we reach a point where there are no more adjustments and changes to be made, I will move on to mix and master the song and add the finishing touches, for which you should expect to receive a .wav file for review in no more than 2 weeks. If the file is approved, then I will send another PayPal link to complete the remainder of the payment, which includes the other 50% of the commission price, plus any additional services or fees you may have requested. If the file is not approved, I will tweak and fix it and send another .wav file for review -again, in no more than 2 weeks- up to 2 more times for a total of 3 final reviews. If you require more than 3 reviews, it will come at an extra cost (see ‘Fees’ section). Mixing/Mastering This is the process that I will follow for a “mixing/mastering” commission. If you didn’t request this commission, feel free to skip this part. Before I start working, please be sure to have each track from your song individually as an audio file (preferably .wav, but 320kbps mp3 files will work). Once I have the files I will start the mixing and mastering process, where I’ll make sure every sound is balanced, polished, and fits right in. Once I get to a point where I feel there’s no further adjustments to be made, I will send a .wav file for review in no more than 2 weeks unless I specifically mention I will need more time. If the file is approved, then I will send another PayPal link to complete the remainder of the payment which includes the other 50% of the commission price, plus any additional services or fees you may have requested. If the file is not approved, I will tweak and fix it and send another .wav file for review -again, in no more than 2 weeks- up to 2 more times for a total of 3 final reviews. If you didn’t request this commission, feel free to skip this part. Before you send me the files you’d like me to work on, please make sure that in your recording there’s as little echo and background noise as possible, and I would also advise you to use a metronome while recording, as that would save me hours of work adjusting and quantizing the timing of your vocals. If you’re recording in a DAW, there’s a metronome already included in most of the more popular DAWs that you can use. If you’re recording through other means, you can use an online metronome. Once I receive your recording(s), I will proceed to adjust the tuning (if requested) and clean up the vocals, as well as add creative effects as I see fit. Once I’m satisfied with the work done, I will send a mp3 file for review in no more than 5 days. If the file is approved, then I will send another PayPal link to complete the remainder of the payment, which includes the other 50% of the commission price, plus any additional services or fees you may have requested. If the file is not approved, I will tweak and fix it and send another mp3 file for review -again, in no more than 5 days- up to 2 more times for a total of 3 final reviews. If you require more than 3 reviews, it will come at an extra cost (see ‘Fees’ section). Lastly, if for whatever reason I need a re-recording of the vocals, I will communicate that as soon as I can. Additional terms -I am allowed to publicly share the song to my social media at my discretion and to include the song in my portfolio unless requested otherwise. You will be notified beforehand if I decide to do so. -I will not start working on the commission if no references are provided. A reference could be a scene from a movie/tv show, a picture, other songs, etc. -Remixes of the song (either by you or someone else) is allowed with proper crediting. -I am allowed to cancel a commission at my discretion. -I am allowed to privately share the songs to peers for feedback purposes at my discretion. I will make sure it doesn’t reach anyone else. -Any new term not included in this document that you wish to add must be agreed on in writing. RESPONSE TIMES -Once I send you a w.i.p. file of each step, progress will come to a halt until you give me a response. If I do not receive a response within 24 hours after I send the message, I will continue working on the song under the assumption that you have waved off the opportunity for revisions or are alright with the progress made up to that point. If you reply and state you need more time for any reason, more time will be granted and I will halt progress until I receive a response from you. -If I receive no response to anything I have sent you within the next 3 days, all work will be halted and nonrefundable until we communicate next. -If I receive no response regarding a final payment, you will not receive the final product until I am paid and all prior payments are nonrefundable. ↑ any W.I.P.s you receive will have temporary watermarks for the protection of each step of my work. Payment Payment process -A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 50% must be paid before I start working. Once the commission is done, the remaining balance must be paid in full, additional services and fees included. -All payments will be made exclusively through PayPal. I will send a PayPal link to facilitate the transaction. Refunds -You may only request for a refund if you cancel a commission or if I fail to meet the deadline, in which case, you will receive a refund for anything you have been charged up to that point, not including the non-refundable deposit stated above. -If for reasons you need to cancel the commission after the 50% deposit was made and I start working, but before the first W.I.P. file is approved, I can give a partial refund (I will keep 25% of the total cost minimum). Once the first W.I.P. is approved, no refunds may be requested unless issued by me. -In the rare case that I cannot complete the commission, I can give a partial refund depending on how much I have completed (I will keep 25% of the total cost minimum) Fees General fees -There will be no extra cost for transaction fees. -Each revision exceeding the 3 revision limit will have an additional cost of $20 -Each revamp exceeding the 3 revamp limit will cost an additional $50 -Rush orders with a specific deadline will cost an additional $25 ‘Full song’ fees -Working with vocals from a singer, rapper, or vocalist (whether it’s your vocals or someone else’s) will cost an additional $50 per vocalist. -To release the song to streaming platforms I must receive 50%* of the revenue paid monthly. -If a remix of the commissioned song is released to streaming platforms I must receive 30%* of the revenue paid monthly. -You may request for the song’s stems. Separating stems can be done 2 ways: ~ 4 tracks (drums, bass, synths, and sfx) which will have an additional cost of $20 ~ Every track separated, which will have an additional cost of $75 ‘Mixing/Mastering’ fees -To release the song to streaming platforms I must receive 30%* of the revenue paid monthly. ‘ Vocals’ fees -Working with more than 1 vocalist will cost an additional $50 per vocalist. -To release the song to streaming platforms I must receive 15%* of the revenue paid monthly. *Percentages are negotiable. Credits -If the song is released on streaming platforms, I must be credited as “Broken Screen”. -If the song is used on a YouTube video, I must be credited on screen in the video and have my website in the description of the video. -If the song is used on a Twitch or Kick stream, I must be credited on screen and in a panel below the stream with my website. I can also provide my logo. -If the song is used in any other video or live streaming platform, I must be credited on screen, and if possible, have the link to my website.
