How to Find a Licensed Dispensary Near You Every state that sells legal cannabis publishes a list of licensed dispensaries. Most search results and map apps mix those shops with closed stores, unlicensed delivery services and paid ads. 1. Start from the state license list A licensed shop has passed the state's checks on testing, labeling and age verification. If a shop is not on the list, skip it. 2. Check the hours before you go Hours change often. Look for posted hours and whether the shop is open right now. 3. Compare deals Many shops run daily deals. Check a few before you drive. 4. Bring a valid ID Adult-use shops are 21+ only. Medical shops also need your state card.
