Terms & Conditions - G.S Electrical Effective date: 21.04.2026 These Terms and Conditions apply to all electrical installation, maintenance, and repair services provided by G.S Electrical to the customer. By accepting our quotation or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 1. Quotes & Scope of Work 1.1 All quotations provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. 1.2 Quotations are based on the information provided at the time of assessment. 1.3 Any additional work required that was not included in the original quotation will be charged at an additional cost, which will be agreed upon prior to commencement of such work. 2. Liability 2.1 We are not liable for any accidental damage caused to property, furnishings or contents during the provision of our services, except where such damage is directly caused by proven negligence on our part. 2.2 We are not responsible for any repairs, plastering, painting or cosmetic works required after our electrical work is complete, unless explicitly stated in the quotation. 3. Access and Site Conditions 3.1 You must ensure safe, unobstructed access to the work area at the agreed date and time. 3.2 If we are unable to gain access to the premises at the scheduled time, a call out fee may be charged. 3.3 Any delays caused by unsafe working conditions or failure to provide access may result in rescheduling and additional costs. 4. Payment Terms 4.1 Full payment is required within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. 4.2 Materials may remain the property of G.S Electrical until payment has been received in full. 5. Warranties 5.1 All work is carried out in accordance with current UK electrical regulations. 5.2 Unless otherwise stated, workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion. This guarantee does not cover: Consumable items (e.g., light bulbs, fuses, batteries), damage or faults caused by misuse, neglect or tampering and issues arising carried out by other contractors after our work was completed. 5.3 Any manufacturer warranties on parts or materials are provided in addition to our workmanship guarantee and are subject to the manufacturer’s terms. 6. Cancellation and Rescheduling 6.1 If you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require at least 24 hours notice. 6.2 Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee. 7. Governing Law 7.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 8. Late Payment and Overdue Fees - Business to Business 8.1 Payment of all invoices is due within the period stated on the invoice. If payment is not received by the due date, a grace period of 7 days will be allowed. If the invoice remains unpaid after this 7-day grace period, we reserve the right to apply a reasonable administrative fee of £20 per week, each week (or part thereof) that an invoice remains unpaid.
